Issue in merging two event datasets in CJA

Hi All,

I am facing an issue while merging data from different dataset in CJA. I have used three datasets in my CJA connection with details as below –

  1. Adobe Analytics dataset – Event data.

primary id – ECID, secondary Id – Lead Id

person key in CJA connection - Lead Id

  1. Campaign performance data – Event data

primary id – Record Id, secondary Id – Lead Id,

person key in CJA connection - Lead Id

  1. Customer data – Profile data

primary id – Customer ID, secondary Id – Lead Id

person key in CJA connection - Lead Id

Now when I get data in CJA workspace dashboard, I can see data from three dataset and can breakdown data between event data by profile data [ Adobe Analytics data by Customer data & Campaign data by Customer data] but when I choose to breakdown Adobe Analytics data by Customer data & Campaign data

Example –

  1. Analytics event data breakdown by Customer profile data – WORKING

Dimension - Lead Id (Analytics)

Breakdown - Customer Name (Customer Profile data)

Lead ID [Analytics]

  1. Campaign performance event data breakdown by Customer profile data – WORKING

Dimension - Campaign Id (Campaign Performance)

Breakdown - Customer Name (Customer Profile data)

People

Campaign ID [Campaign Performance]

  1. Campaign performance event data breakdown by Analytics event data – NOT WORKING

Dimension - Campaign Id (Campaign Performance)

Breakdown - Lead Id (Analytics)

It gives ‘No Value’ when broken down.

People

Campaign ID [Campaign Performance]

Lead ID [Analytics]

No Value

Sneha

This might be because your analytics dataset might not have the lead id value on all the event records, some might be anonymous, stitched ID might help you here.

Looking over the documentation, it seems that the ability for this to work is tied to the consistent Person ID. It looks like you have the same field for person ID in both of your event data sets. Is there anyway that a person has a different value in the different event data sets maybe?

ECID is available only in one dataset and not in other two datasets.
