if we delete the batch, how long it takes to delete the records from dataLake , profile-store, identity namespace ?

Deleting a batch removes it only from the data lake.The batch is marked as inactive, then garbage‑collected asynchronously.If it's part of a privacy request, data may be soft-deleted and purged within 7 days.

To delete profile or identity data, you must use other methods:

- Profile Entity Delete API — deletes data from profile store, but only that part. Results propagate within around 24 hours.

- Data Hygiene / Privacy Service Jobs — bulk deletes across all systems, timelines depend on your org's licensing:

1. Without Shield Add‑on: queue up to 15 days, then up to 30 days to finish.

2. With Shield Add‑on: typically completes in ~24 hours, up to 15 days max.

deleting a batch will only delete from data lake, not from profile store. and it takes may be an hour to delete it from data lake.
