Considerations for Salesforce Marketing Cloud API connection to Adobe CDP
Hello all,
My team and I are currently working on testing a connection for Adobe CDP to Salesforce Marketing Cloud via API connection. While testing, a few questions have come up and were wondering if anyone has any insight into them:
- Since there is no option to set up an export frequency cadence like there is for the Files SFMC connection, how does the API connect behave if you want to send it multiple times a day?
- How does Adobe CDP segment ingestion to SFMC behave for existing users and net new users via the SFMC API method?
- Within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, you must create attributes with a FIELD NAME that exactly matches the value specified within Mapping ID for each activated Platform segment. Are there best practices around creating the Mapping ID field or any other necessary fields in SFMC?
