access products in cart with Target & Web SDK

Hi, 

 

For demo purposes I need to present customer a use-case: pop-up with products in the cart. 

How would approach that task knowing that my env has AEP CDP with Target implemented using WEB SDK. Would you access products in the cart using productListItems or add products added to cart to Target visitor profile?

I dont think so this is suitable use case, something you can implement without  AEP and target. This can be implemented with AEM/ Magento (Commerce) functionalities.

However, If at all it has to be implemented with AEP, you can maintain always latest snapshot of products in cart on the profile and use profile api to access products list and serve the experience. One caution profile API usage will attract some cost ensure you check the license.
