Adobe Marketo Engage

I am facing an issue with Dynamic Chat. I am attempting to assign Chat records to their current owner in Marketo/Salesforce, but there doesn't seem to be a way to have a realtime lookup of our database to determine if a person interacting with Dynamic Chat exists in our database before they decide to book a meeting. This is causing issues because it is allowing the chat participant to book meetings with Reps who do not own the record, causing competing ownership of the record and who owns the demo. Has anyone here solved for this problem?The furthest I have progressed is to skip the meeting booking step by identifying if the person is cookied. Which defeats the purpose. Ideally we would allow the chat participant to ONLY book with their current CRM owner, cookied or not, and then round robin the chat demo if the email does not exist in our CRM.

Hi All, We recently replaced the default marketo unsubscribe with our own custom preference center link where folks can unsubscribe. Has anyone found a way to exclude these clicks from email performance reports? Thanks!

Hello, I wanted to get more details on the difference between adding a program vs. adding an email to a stream (see attached screen captures). I'm concerned this will affect the flow of the stream or how the statuses are captured. The first send I did was a program, as it was one email in English for everyone. Now, I've created a new email with dynamic content so I want to specifically add that email to the stream, and not the whole program. How will this affect the statuses? Does anyone have more info on this? Much appreciated!

Hello There, I'm currently undertaking some automation for our Marketing Team. I'm looking to automate the upload of leads from our CRM to a static leads list within Marketo. I have a CSV with some dummy data I'm trying to upload to a static list.  However, I'm getting a 1006 response saying the fields don't exist. However, I can see the fields do exist within the static list.  I can manually update the static list via the GUI without issues. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm banging my head against the wall this point.     

I was curious what people do with event landing pages after the event is over. In particular, for webinar landing pages.I've never really paid much attention to them and just left them alone, but I do see the rare lead come through the registration form well after the event is over--and effectively nothing will happen for them.I've boiled it down to two options: either I change the form afterwards to one that acts as on-demand (which already exists, just on the main website and not as a landing page), or I just throw a button or something on the page to point to the on-demand location. The latter is easier, but adds another click to the process.Just curious what other people are doing in this situation.

Im trying to send UTM values back to Marketo once someone click on our Known Visstor button I have added the hidden utm fields to the form when not you is detected.Whenever we click on our custom button its not sending any information back to Marketo that the form was filled out. Is their some extra step I have to take to ensure that those values are captured and submitted. 

Hi everyone,   I'm relatively new to creating tokens in Marketo and could use some guidance. We're currently working on a recruiting nurture campaign where each lead is assigned a recruiting manager. We want to incorporate customized CTA buttons that link to each lead's respective recruiter's Calendly for booking.   Here's the challenge: I've developed a token to achieve this functionality, but it's not working as expected. When we test it, all leads seem to default to the same landing page instead of redirecting to their recruiter's Calendly link.   The field in Marketo that stores the recruiter's name is PC_Recruiter_Name, and I've verified that this field works correctly with other tokens. Specifically, the token I'm using for this field is: ${lead.PC_Recruiter_Name}.   Could anyone advise on how to properly set up a token so that it populates the correct Calendly URL based on each lead's recruiter? We use a filter on our email sends for "opened any email in the last 1 year" to help with deliverability. However, I've noticed our email send list has drastically lessened since I started over the last 2 years - wondering if anyone else uses this filter for deliverability purposes or is there harm in removing for the next email send just to test how that goes OR would having a lower deliverability rate greatly impact us? Thanks!

I am looking to write up some velocity script for a new project. We want to send out dynamic emails to our partners that have outstanding onboarding tasks to complete. We want them to receive an email every few days that will list 3 (or less depending on how many tasks they have left to do) tasks that they haven't completed and link them to the dashboard where they can finish them.  I was thinking that in velocity I would set an order to the 8 tasks (these will be boolean fields marked true or false depending on completion) and have it display the ones that are not complete in the email, but I'm not sure how to cap it 3 tasks. Also, want to make sure that by setting an "order" to the tasks, it will show the most important tasks to list first (hope that makes sense). For example, if they have 5 tasks left to do, I only want to display 3 of the most important ones in the email.

Is there any api that does choose email? (attaching, assigning email to this email program)

I am looking at integrating our Marketo instance with Salesforce and was hoping to get some visibility into what other's challenges have been and what you wished had been in place before you started the integration. Hello, we are creating emails fully built with tokens. I want to reference the email in smart campaigns that live outside those email programs. Is this possible?  The email will live in the program with tokens, but the smart campaign will live outside that specific email program.
