Adobe Marketo Engage

Please add a "Do not show this message again" option in an RTP Dialog campaign. Currently users who are presented with a modal campaign can only A.) wait the predetermined time limit for the modal to close automatically B.) can click on the "X" in the top right corner.Users do not have the option to discontiniue seeing the modal if they return after their session expires (30 minutes). We have over 1.4 million page views a month as our users access our site multiple times a day. This makes running RTP campaigns annoying from a users perspective if they cannot be coookied so they can opt out to not see the modal several times a day. This is a standard best practice when serving popups and right now we only run campaigns once a week and manually have to turn them off.I would like to mention that aside from this basic functionality flaw the tool is great and I would recommend it to anyone but not without adding the feature I have mentioned.

Pretty straight forward - just think it would be nice if token values would start to auto-populate the drop-down in the New Value area of the Change Data Value flow if you star typing "{{" (similar to how SFDC fields are suggested in the Attribute box) - it would be great if you wanted to transfer a value from one field to another so that we wouldn't have to manually plug it in and/or risk messing up the token syntax.

We use snippets extensively in our emails and landing pages.  It would be very useful to be able to use them within the dynamic content blocks (that are based on segementations).  Anytime you want to use dynamic content, you can only use actual content, not snippets.

Not sure if im missing this somewhere or what, as my tree gets bigger using the search function is horrible as it opens up countless folders in my tree and i do not see a way to collapse everything with one click.Call it OCD or whatever but i dont like open folders that are not being used =).

It would be great to simplify the text-version editing process of email campaigns. In virtually every email campaign I've created so far, I find the "Copy from HTML" feature for the text versions more cumbersome than a help.  Because the translation is so literal from HTML to text, I find myself having to manually edit the text version multiple times.  This is additionally frustrating when I have to make edits to the emails in Dreamweaver; if I replace the HTML entirely, all the work I did previously in the text version is lost. The biggest issue is that there isn't one single box to house all the text version content.  Because I have to manually edit each bucket that has HTML content, it makes the text version process so much longer than it needs to be.  Every other email client/vendor I've ever used has a completely separate area to edit the text version.  You could always copy the HTML, and of course, it was never perfect, but nothing has ever been as clunky as this version.I realize

I think it would be really cool if there was a way to preview an email template when you are picking one from the dropdown menu when you first create an email.  Then once the email is created, on the summary page, a small thumbnail of the email is displayed.

I would like to submit an idea about the Ideas section of the community.  I would like to see status, or Ideas implemented by Marketo.  We have a large number of Ideas, and many could really improve the user experience within Marketo.  It would be great to see where these Ideas land on the Marketo roadmap.I am a Linux user and there is a small community for Linux Mint that implements this sort of visibility into product development:http://community.linuxmint.com/ideaI think we could present something like this to our users as well.  I think this adds something to being involved in this community, makes the product more 'personal'.Thanks

Wouldn't it be easier to write in the calendar instead of updating outside of the calendar?

Why can you not get back into your markating activities from the community? Instead you have to leave the markto.com page open.

There could be a method for tracking attendance at each Marketo User Group / MUG meeting. You could be rewarded Rockstar Rewards points for each MUG meeting or event you attend.

With the December release, functionality was taken away from us.  The alerts we (as administrators) receive when a list import finishes was been consolidated, and information that had been on thoses was removed.  The alerts used to display the number of leads imported, the number of new leads, and the number of existing leads.  After the December release, all that information was removed from the alert and it literally just states that the import has finished...In my opinion, updates/releases should add functionality, not take it away, and I for one found that information to be incredibly helpful. Please like this idea if you agree and would like that functionality returned to us.Thanks!!For reference, here's the old alert:And here's the new alert:

Hi,I would like to implement campaign that populates dynamic content based on pages browsed in previous sessions. E.g. If some one browsed product X page in last visit, show him that product as Inzone/ Dialog in next visit. Thanks,Gunjan

Hi,It would be great if there is expiration date / pause date feature added in RTP campaign so that campaign automatically gets paused on due date. Currently it is manual and needs continous monitoring.Would be specifically useful for event based date driven campaings. Thanks,Gunjan

While realize there is the ability to import programs/campaigns from different Marketo instances, it would be helpful if could copy an entire instance (admin settings, fields, leads, custom object data, etc).  This would eliminate a lot of manual effort when creating a new environment for testing purposes.

I would like the function in forms that when a user has completed all possible fields in the progressive profiling form that it doesn't appear at all anymore. I saw in a previous post that Marketo best practice is to enable auto-populating for data integrity and form tracking, but it's a click I would like to eliminate from my user experience. Some kind of a check box in the form settings to stop serving the form when all fields are completed would be great! Thanks!

We have segmentations based on country and language preferences. It would be great if we could map our default segment to one of the languages, defaulting all users without a segment to that locale. For exampleUK_enUS_enDE_deES_esDefault --> UK_enLeads without a language setting would then get the UK_en version.

New to Marketo and love the My Rewards concept in the Marketo Community.  Is there a way Marketo could show progress made toward unlocking individual rewards in My Rewards? For example: Post 5 new ideas in the Marketo Community.  Status 3 out of 5 ideas posted.

I would like to be able to subscribe to a Smart List, have it create an Excel file and email it to the subscriber. This would be extraordinarily helpful. We are an enterprise level company. More than 95% of the analytics I need to create for management is done via Smart List and not through Analytics. The reason being, management just doesn't want a number. They want to know who, what company, what job title, location, etc. A simple example of this is a seminar. Sales would like an daily update for sign-ups. They do not want an alert for each sign-up as that could be hundreds of email in a week. A daily list of sign-ups would be helpful. Currently, I manually have to run these, export and email them myself.

As soon as, a landing page is created, Marketo can not change the path name of the URL.  For instance, Marketo cannot change the URL from "abc.com/page1.html" to "abc.com/whitepapers/page1.html".  This creates more work when creating destination goal in GA and spends more # goals in GA more than required.

When email scripting was extended to use custom objects, I was thrilled and delighted--but unfortunately, the only custom objects that are supported are those linked to Leads and Contacts. Given that Account-linked objects are used by Salesforce.com deployments with Person Accounts, this cuts off some advanced work that could otherwise be done. Even if the object also has a child relationship to a Contact, this only works for pulling the corresponding Contact-level record rather than inheriting the Account-level record.I realize this is definitely an edge use case, but being able to script from Account-level objects would be most appreciated, especially given the ability to pull Smart Lists based on those same Account-level objects.

Noticed under community rewards -> World Tour -> Revvie, it is referencing 2013.

Hi there,I am having a hard time tracking some landing pages down when all I have is a URL. We do a pretty good job with our naming conventions, but it does take some time to pore through all of Marketing Activities and Design Studio to find the landing page that corresponds to a given URL.It would be great to be able to search for a landing page by URL within the Marketo interface. Thanks!

It would save a step if we couple approve the Landing Page on the "edit detail" page. Much like we can do when editing/creating forms.

It would be great if we could track our feedback to articles in addition to our ideas and likes so that a) we can know what we have already commented on and b) if the article did receive an update based on our feedback that we were somehow notified about it.

Currently our team uses outlook to schedule emails and campaigns. It would be nice for planning and tracking to have them populate in a calendar within Marketo.
