Hey! Was wondering if I can get some help since this is my first time encountering this problem: I am going through a lead's activity log and I am noticing that one of the field updates has the campaign name next to the activity, but the problem is that the actual campaign doesn't update that field and when I click on the activity ID, the source of the activity says Salesforce. However when I click on the record history in Salesforce, it says that the field was updated by Marketo, any idea on what could be the cause of this?

I've Googled and read through similar old posts so I think I know the answer to this, but to pose the question anyway: We use the Create Task in Microsoft flow step to notify relationship managers when one of their clients do certain actions. In the task we bring in certain values eg According to Marketo help this only works for Person, Company, Campaign, and System tokens. Has anyone been able to get this to work for data in a custom object? Eg we have an custom object called IterationSummary that has a field called Amount that we're hoping to pull into the Task description.  Thanks 

Hi there, I'm jiwon I tried to add an interactive webinar user in the sandbox, but it failed.When I add a user, the screen stops loaded. Hi,   Form field label made mandatory (asterisk icon) causes the 3rd line to misalign. First and second line wrap with correct indentation. However, 3rd wrapped line text returns back under the asterisk and not indented like the top 2 lines, and does not look good. iPhone 13 causes this effect. Through browser tools I have created a new media query for this to target specifically 300px - 359px.   Can you please advise how I can clean this up? I have tried this: .mktoLabel.mktoHasWidth { display: block; margin: 0; padding-left: 1em; text-indent: -1em; }   I do not see how I can possibly apply any <span> when HTML is not readily available for these form labels. Hello, I need to export regularly (every month) into excel all the leads and activities that we have since the beginning of the year.I am seeking for advice regarding the best option (most efficient and best performing) to handle this. So far i am handling it with a python script that is extracting these data with the bulk API.However it runs quite slowly (5-10 min) because of the 30-day batches that needed to be implemented to make it work.I am wondering whether there is a better option. We don't have so many leads or activities (below 100k per year).Would you have any idea/suggestion? Thanks for your supportVinz 

Hi All, We have a scenario where accidentally few records were mistakenly tagged to a person status  eg - Attended which Qualifies them as MQL ,based on our current lead scoring framework. How do we rectify them back to a different status as the requestors have confirmed that incorrect files were provided by mistake. NOTE : Few of these incorrect records have been SAL'd as well Any tips/ recommendations around this on how we can correct them? Thanks,Sam

Our team is working on sending personalized emails based on information stored in a custom object using travel itinerary information. Our problem, though, is that many leads in our database have multiple itineraries (i.e. multiple custom object records). We have set up some script tokens to display custom object information, but this will only display info from the most recent custom object record. How do we ensure the correct itinerary is displayed? For example: If we are sending a pre-travel type email 7 days before a person's departure, and that person has 2 itineraries (A & B), but only Itinerary B's departure date is in 7 days, how can we ensure only Itinerary B's info is displayed instead of Itinerary A? In this example, we would want to display a "Departure Date" field and a "Booking Number" field. I know we would need to utilize some velocity scripting, but any assistance here would be greatly appreciated!

Hey all - I posted this to LinkedIn today and got an encouraging note to post here as well (thanks, Jonathan!) Over the years, I've implemented a lot of Marketo instances. By the 15th time you do something, it ought to be pretty good – and I'm really proud of the systems we've built at my current company. Both in part to keep my memory fresh on why/how some things work and to look for opportunities to improve our systems, I've been doing some documentation/clean-up in my spare time. Most recently I took some screenshots & notes of our Lead Source/Lead Source Detail program. Hi Everyone, I have been User Admin to a Marketo Instance with over 500 users now. As one would imagine, for such a big user list, we have different Roles and permissions assigned.I am stuck at one instance where user has requested access to create custom objects, and I have created a different/new role for all custom object creation/edit access, specifically for this user. And initially, I had assigned that new role to this user, in addition to what he already had (Standard user).  However, he was not able to create/view custom objects, which was troubling. So, I checked on a dummy user with just that new role, it does not work (Admin section shows up empty), meaning the role I created has some limitations to it. (as per this marketo doc) least access of the selected roles would be given, so tried giving temp admin access but that does not seem to have fixed it too. We are hoping to transition from a shared IP to a dedicated IP to optimize our email deliverability rates. Moving to a new Dedicated IP will, however, require a gradual IP warm-up. I was initially hoping that during this warm-up period, Marketo would allow us to use our dedicated IP to complete the warm-up, but also "toggle" to the shared IP so we can continue business as usual sending emails to large groups of people during the warm-up. I was told by Marketo that this is not possible, and once we switch to the Dedicated IP, we will no longer have access to the shared IP. My question is this -- does anyone have any recommendations for completing an IP warm-up so we can move to the Dedicated IP, while still deploying large emails during the warm-up period (which Marketo recommends we run for 6-8  weeks)? I am unsure how we can exectue the warm-up while still conducting business as usual in the meantime with necessary email comms.Thank in advance for any suggestions -- any

A long way back, you learned that direct links to static assets (like, say, a PDF) won’t be tracked by Munchkin. You should instead have a central Redirector LP that hooks up the Munchkin cookie before flipping to the target asset.   Later, I showed how to instrument Munchkin so an event fires as soon as Visit Web Page has been logged, allowing the fastest response for Munchkin-dependent stuff — like redirecting.   Hadn’t yet wrapped together those 2 concepts, though. "Marketo only" custom objects have been available for a while within Marketo, but up until recently you needed involvement from Support or Consulting to create them. Well, all that is changing in a recent enhancement to Marketo. If you need to leverage Custom Objects, you can request access via support, and this new end user facing UI is all yours. Amazing, Right? Once enabled, you'll see the Custom Objects under Admin --> Custom ObjectsLets talk a bit about why you might need or want to use custom objects. Custom objects are used to extend the Marketo data model and specify data that exists in a one to many relationship with a Lead or Company. I'm trying to come up with a good way to automate the creation of status (smart) campaigns that we use repeatedly for a variety of programs in our multiple workspaces. These include clicked, opened, bounced, invalid, and unsubscribed. I set up a folder in the default workspace, and within that is a "test program" that contains these 5 smart campaigns that are not hooked up to any emails or programs...they're just empty fields waiting to be assigned something. I finally got to the point where I could drag a clone of this test program into another workspace. Hooray! But now, I need to move those cloned smart campaigns out of the test program into the program I intended for them to be used in. I can't seem to clone them into my destination program, and dragging them doesn't work. How can I accomplish this?
