Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi All,  We've been experiencing a phenomenon with our new leads coming in (all from the same form) where the data in certain fields being input as "default." I've looked for the cause of this in the activity logs of each of the leads and it appears this is happening at the form level. I'm wondering if the problem comes down to some of the fields had the form pre-fill enabled. Has anyone else had this experience? 

Hello Community,We are exploring more paid digital ad campaigns (ie. LinkedIn, Google) and looking at ways how others are setting up their programs in Marketo. We have tried a few out, but looking to scale for the longer-term for program management and also reporting. Apologies for the lengthy post, a bit of context below. - We are looking to run a few different LinkedIn ads (some using OOTB LinkedIn Lead Gen Form and others pointing back to Marketo LP, or website page)- The ads that point back to a website page, and afterwards they click on a contact us link (which is a Marketo page) we lose the attribution from the utm parameters because our marketo page opens up in a new window (with no utms). How can we attribute the form fill to the paid-ad? If we embedded a form directly on the page, would it pull in the utm values if we have hidden utm fields on the form? Happy October, Community!    We use Dynamics 365 as our CRM and Marketo provides us with updates on leads that have failed to sync - nearly always due to duplicates. When there's one or two emails, they're visible in the notification; when there's more than five, there's a link to a list of all the impacted records:  Since being migrated to Adobe Console, I click on "See the full list" and I'm taken to a log in page, where I do so using Adobe ID, from which Marketo simply opens again with no sign of the list.   I've had to wait until records come back around as a duplicate and in view on the notification to address them but just found a workaround - if you right click on the link in the notification, copy it, and open it in the Marketo window you're already using, then you get the list download. We recently had to change our domain for our current instance due to some changes in policies on what we can use to send out third-party software. And I was wondering if there is a way to get an alert or a report on everytime that old domain is used for an email so that we can find it and change it.

Hello folksWe had a customer receive an email where almost all links were flagged by MailScanner as potential fraud. Images in the email were also not displayed.The email displayed with the following where the link was placed:"MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "branding.domain.co.nz" claiming to be [link]"For further context, this is not the sending domain. So the email is from company@sending.domain.co.nz and images and tracking are using branding.domain.co.nz.Will adding SPF & DKIM records to the branding domain help with this? Any other suggestions?

Does anyone have any experience with capturing a company name from is a pick list on a form?  My SFDC admin are looking to implement a rule where a company cannot be added to SFDC unless it matches a predefined list.  I am not sure if it would be a predictive list, and I have not tested to see if a Marketo form would allow this type of field.  I would normally avoid this type of field for a company because there are so many variations, and would be a bad experience for the user.

Hello, Working on a new project and I have access to all of the fields I want to display on a landing page... on a custom list which works just fine for emails, but wanted to have a landing page that provides the same/similar content, but can only use lead information. Is there a workaround for accessing the data here? it's unique information about that persons account so everyone's information would be unique to them. Is there a way to access custom object data on landing pages? Is there a reason you wouldn't want to be able to do this?

I believe that we wouldn’t be able to track a conversation from Marketo once the user bounced off the UTM tagged links from paid campaigns. I've got default snippets added to my email template, but I want to make sure that no one can remove or replace those snippets when they are creating the emails. Has anyone found a way to add a snippet that can not be edited with the email editor? Our use case is for global footers that need to be used across multiple footers, we don't want to be able to manage the content in a single place but also ensure that it always appears and can't accidentally be removed from the email. We used to just use formula fields to do this, but that is no longer supported on large email sends.

We're attempting to make the body text dynamic using a velocity script that references a custom object on the SFDC Practice table. However, the script isn't yielding any output. The fields we're referencing are checkboxes (as shown in the screenshot). We suspect that the issue might be because we're using fields on the practice table (custom object) or because they are checkbox fields. Our theory is either correct, or there's an error in how we've written the velocity scripts (see the scripts labeled Velocity Script 1 and Velocity Script 2 below). We've tried using both 1/0 and True/False values in the script.  Could you confirm if our theory is correct? Email address is a required field for all Marketo leads. However when my team imports a list, if their is a lead with email empty, but other fields are filled (name, address, etc), Marketo will create a new lead ID. How can I block empty email address leads from importing into the system from a list? It's creating useless leads in the database.

Hello! We have a newly designed preference center. The goal is for data to auto-populate if the contact is within our database. For example, a contact receives an email to update their preferences. Once they click onto the link, they are directed to the preference center landing page, which would auto-populate their email address and preference selections, if applicable.  I understand that the link must be sent via email in order to populate the information. I've tested it a million times, both my work and personal email addresses, but can't get the data to auto-populate. I've checked that all fields within the form are set to autofill.  Does anyone have any recommendations? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

Hi.Does anyone have experience with a tool that automatically enriches forms with data from third-party sources (such as ZoomInfo) that they can recommend? I am looking for a solution that will offer type-ahead functionality on the company name when someone begins filling out the company name field in a form. For example, if someone types in Rutgers University, the tool would ask, "Do you work for this Rutgers University", and then auto-fill the rest of the fields.Ringlead used to offer a feature like this, but their product was sunsetted in favor of ZoomInfo's solution when ZoomInfo acquired RingLead. ZoomInfo also offers a similar feature, but their enrichment kicks in after someone types in their email address. I am looking for something that is based on company name submissions rather than email, so wondering if anyone has any suggestions.Thanks in advance!

Hello I am testing out a flow and I want to check something. Is there a workaround for having a clicks link in email trigger activate on an email that's sent out using the built in email program rather than a smart campaign? Currently I am testing it and the trigger only works when the email is sent out through a flow step rather than the program.  The criteria for this is just Clicks on Link in <email> with the constraint Link is <link> and with no other criterias 

Hi All,   I am experiencing Marketo access issue on marketo instances. It is asking for verification and then returning the Failed to load Page error. Below is the screenshot: Anyone experiencing the same?  

 I have a Guided LP that I am building, when I create a page from it and insert the form, the form fields are not responsive to the container. I know I am missing something in the code. Hey Folks, I’ve noticed that the filter “Email address does not contain = @xyz.com” in the smart list is not functioning as expected. It is not suppressing any records. The count in the database matches the smart list count, even when I use multiple domains for suppression. It's only working on using “Email address does not contain = xyz.com” and that is not a best practice to not use "@" in domain.It seems like there might be a bug in the instance.

I am trying to setup webhooks for lead object in my accounts and when i am creating a smart campaign , I can't find the "Lead is Created" trigger. Can anyone help me with this.
