Hi everyone,I'd like to hear what others are doing to find Most/Medium/Least Active and Inactive leads in their database.The goal is to develop a tiered list for both active and inactive leads so we know how to prioritize our communication with them as we work on deliverability.This is what I was thinking for the smart lists for Active Leads:Level 1 Active(the most engaged) - was delivered any email in past 30 days at least 3 times, opened any email in past 30 days, clicked link in any email in past 30 daysLevel 2 Active(2nd most engaged) - was delivered any email in past 60 days at least 6 times, opened any email in past 60 days, clicked link in any email in past 60 daysLevel 3 Active(3rd most engaged) - was delivered any email in past 90 days at least 9 times, opened any email in past 90 days, clicked link in any email in past 90 days...and so on for 6 month and 1 yrSome questions:Is Marketo smart enough to know that "click link in email" should exclude clicking the Unsubscribe link

HelloWe want to collect our customers preferences about locations they would like us to update them on (eg if there is a service outage).This is a B2B example where a company may have many employees, so there may be multiple locations they need to be kept informed about.Are there any third-party tools that help with collecting location?I am thinking search autocomplete, where the person filling in the form starts typing the location and a small list that start with the same letters appears.I have seen it used on websites for when customers are searching for something eg holidays.Has anyone done this for forms? We are loading more than 100 records per lead in CO since it is a business requirement. Marketo application have a limitation, It only allows to access 100 records on UI and in velocity script. Therefore, we want to load data in specific order so top 100 records as per their order amount can be accessible in velocity script and also displayed on UI.We are retrieving data in descending order from database and then load it in Marketo.We have custom field "Sequence" as a dedupe field and it get incremented for every record.This is how we load records in Marketo via api.Sequence    Order Amount          1                    1302                    1203                    1104                    100....120          &nbsp

I have a scenario, where I tried to segregate people into 3 different static lists based on below criteria: Add to list: Choice 1:If 'preferred Language Segment' is 'Bahasa'-Then add to 'Test List 1' Choice 2:If 'Random Sample' is '50'Then add to 'Split list 1' Default choice :Add to 'Split list 2'Total audience count is 51488.Total people with Bahasa Preferred language segment from above audience is 27039. We expected rest people (24,449) would be equally split (12,224 &12,225) between remaining two lists (Split list 1 & 2), but as you can see below,  the vast majority of people were added to 'Split list 1'.Split list 1 - 21922Split list 2 - 2527 Can you please someone help me understand why choice 2 and default conditions weren't split equally? If we use Random sample as choice 2, will it consider only remaining people from choice 1 or entire audience who qualified?Test List 1 - 27039Split list 1 - 21922Split list 2 - 2527

We run event registration landing pages on Marketo and we were wondering if there's a plugin or embedding code (recommendation) that we can use to display "Upcoming Events" as a gallery on the Wordpress page.When clicking on the event tile on the gallery, it should open the Marketo page. Currently we are creating a Wordpress post (type=events) and load a curated posts gallery. Then the event post has another click to the Marketo LP.If there's a way to build such a gallery without adding that middle touch it would be better for user experience.Any idea?

I am excited to learn more about the new feature for Disable Campaigns on Archive. Our instance has changed hands at least two times with new leaders and has been operational since 2020. I would be interested to hear how others in the community are using applying the new feature? 

Hitting that big "launch" button can be a scary thing to do. I've sent a lot of email campaigns in my time, but I still get a bit of that big-red-button-anxiety bit each time. What if I've misspelt something horrendously? What if the links break? What if the world explodes?     Well, the good news for starters: no mistake you make in an email will cause the world to explode. So don't put that on your head. Most mistakes are also mistakes you can recover from - there's plenty of great examples out there of companies bouncing back from mistakes in ways that are actually quite endearing.   BUT. Ideally you don't want to have to bounce back - you want to avoid making those mistakes in the first place. How do you do that? Pre-launch checklists. But the trick is that a lot of the time you don’t know what to check for until you've made a mistake with that thing (ugh). So - rather than learning from only your mistakes, it's helpful when you can learn from everyone else's, too.

Hi all!We're planning on sending an email from Marketo to known users linking to a Typeform survey. Typeform says it's able to capture things like email address using hidden fields (so survey takers won't have to type theirs in). Here's the structure Typeform has for including emails in a hidden field:  They've got specific instructions for Hubspot, Mailchimp, and others, but nothing for Marketo. What should we include here in place of the [xxxxx] to ensure known Marketo emails are captured? (We don't have an integration or anything, but I feel like this should be doable?)  Appreciate the help - thanks!

Hello, currently we have a webhook URL from Zapier which gets data from a Five9 Connection (which needs the webhook) and Zapier updates fields in Marketo.Is it possible to create directly a Marketo Webhook URL which would receive the email from Five9 and update another field to this email in Marketo? Tried to create the webhook inn Marketo but no idea which URL to use?---Found this in https://rollout.com/integration-guides/marketo/api-essentialsbut still no idea which URL to use when creating a webhook in Marketo: To update a lead record using webhooks:Create a webhook to retrieve data from the external system (e.g. Vibes).Create a separate webhook to update the Marketo lead record with the retrieved data.

We encountered a situation where we scheduled an email to be sent at 10 AM EST, but after scheduling it, the schedule tab showed as 'not run' and there was no tick marked for the smart campaign either. When we revisited the smart campaign after half an hour, we observed that the email had been sent at 10:24 EST.Similarly, there was another instance where a team member scheduled the email again since the schedule tab had shown as not run.Can anyone please let me know why does this happen?

We have a field for Industry that is sent as normal industry values like (affordable housing, government, etc). That field is causing sync failures to Dynamics because Dynamics is looking for GUID. How do I fix this?    Thanks 

Hi, Marketo apparently has a token for this, but I do not believe it will work. ESPs are going to translate it to pull in the copyright year on emails?Is there a bullet-proof way to have the copyright year auto update in my email templates for whenever they get sent out to recipients? Thanks!

Hello, I'm getting stuck with this problem. We send an email to ex-members with a birthday offer. We have that automation correctly setup but a change is needed. We need to wait 1 year after they become ex-members and then, run the campaign.  For example: Cancel DateBirthday Receives Email?Mar 1, 2024Mar 2, 2024❌ (Too soon)Mar 1, 2024Feb 28, 2026✅ (More than 1 year) I can't seem to find a way to do this with the wait step. Does anyone know what I need to do or if there's another solution already written? Thanks in advance and best regards.

 Hello,We've been trying to troubleshoot a Marketo<>Zoom integration for our webinars for a while now and not making any progress.Our original set up was using the webhook to push data over to zoom, we have since tried to move over to the Launchpoint integration. We've been able to successfully set up launchpoint, connect the program to our webinars however anytime we try to push a registration over to Zoom we immediately get a Registration Error. We've made sure that the fields needed are mapped over to Zoom, ensured that the registration is required. Marketo support is saying it's an issue on the Zoom end, so we are not sure what we should be looking at next to resolve the issue.Any ideas? Has anyone else has a similar issue?

I have been trying to access user activity using the Marketo API. But when I enable the filter for my form using the assetIds property, I get an empty result, even though the moreResult parameter is true. I have tried sending subsequent requests using the nextPageToken from the response using a script 40+ times. Apologies upon apologies if this has been answered before - but I can't seem to find the correct query to give me the answer I need.We have a large number of always-on Smart Campaigns running with multiple Flow steps and one thing I can seem to figure out is if there's a way to see the quantity of Leads that are active PER STEP?Like if my Flow is 10 steps and I want to see how many people are currently in the Step 5 Wait or the Step 8 Email Send?

To our surprise, we found this option in Marketo Field Management. It seems to only appear if your instance was moved to the Adobe Admin Console. Does anybody know what this function does? The only documentation I find is a decade old. Thanks!Michael

We recently sent an email campaign; the main CTA was a click to a Marketo Landing Page.In the reporting I could see, of the people who were sent the email 30 people had visited the webpage ( activity: Visit Web Page recorded), but no email click was recorded, the open was recorded.I did ask Marketo Support about this, and they explained that these customers would have disabled email click tracking but accepted web tracking.Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any good articles on this topic?Also, is there anyway to work out what % of our customers have disabled email click tracking?( The Marketo Landing Page was not shared any other way and these clicks did follow the email send and open activity).Thank you
