A custom sync rule can be used to keep specific records from syncing with Marketo. I have started playing around with the new email editor in Marketo and I love it so far, but was curious about column sizes. I was trying to figure out when using 2:2 columns if you can adjust the size manually. There are options, but I cannot see a way to resize one side, it seems pre-determined. Also when adding any type of padding around an image, it overlaps the other side. 

I'm wanting to set up a Win-Back lead nurture program, targeting closed/lost opportunities. I feel like it makes sense to set it up as a trigger campaign when the opportunity is updated to closed lost, but I'm wondering what the ideal time frame for this would be? Who else has experience setting up a nurture program to target closed/lost opportunities? Thanks!!

Hi, If a champion/challenger test is discarded is it possible to see the email performance using the email insights section?  I know once discarded your not able to see email A OR B performance using the email performance report with the was sent email filter = "name of email", test variant = a so I'm assuming if once discarded you cant see it the email performance report or in email insights either. I'm not able to check email insights myself as im running into some problems with it so any insights would be helpful. TIA 🙂

We are not developers so I am hoping we can get it done without any other 3rd party tool and an easy setup in Marketo webhook section. We would be grateful for some help on how to do it. I am building a simple nurture and I would like to recycle a lot of our old emails since we have years of content that we can re-use. Let's call it the Food and Beverages Nurture Operational campaigns: - Add to stream 1 criteria: If Status is marketable, and industry is Food and beverages, and person is created this year, and SFDC type is not contact, and region is LATAM, add to stream 1. Batch campaign to run nightly. - Remove from program: If status is unsubscribed or email invalid, move them to the unsubscribe stream (there's no content and is just a holding cell) and mark their status as Engagement Program > Unsubscribe. Hi -We're trying to test out a connection integration to our Marketo Sandbox instance and we noticed that while creating the custom object we can only make two fields in Sandbox to be set to dedupe. We need to have 3 to test against the system, but it seems that our Sandbox instance is not allowing us to set a 3rd field as dedupe. Is that a limit within Sandbox or am I missing something?

When adding the State field to a form, it automatically generates state values, including all 50 U.S. states. Is there a way to add a new state or territory to this predefined list? Specifically, we would like to include the Virgin Islands in the available options.Additionally, if this modification is possible, would the change apply retroactively to all existing forms that use the State field?

I have a series of 6 emails that need to be sent out (one per week) that will go to a very large list, and we will need to have resends to unopened emails. Would the best practice for this to be set up a nurture program or just a basic email program? 

We have a situation, due to duplicates and merging and such, where we have a record in Marketo that is associated with a record in SFDC, but that SFDC record has "deleted in Marketo" as true, meaning that it no longer syncs back to Marketo. As a result, we need to sync those Marketo records with different SFDC records (i.e., its duplicate). Is it possible to somehow run batches to make those changes, or is that something that Marketo can do on the backend if we provide a list?

I am trying to figure out if there's an easy way to get inbox placement tool set up for every send in Marketo without having to make a seed list every time. What is the best way to use this tool?

I have an email using dynamic content for a banner image.  Of course the dynamic images are based on a segment.  The segment has about 80 values, based on a field that gets populated when users fill in a form on the website.  When we created the email all segment values were tested and the correct images were populating.  We're seeing instances of users receiving the default image, or worse, the wrong image.  When I look at our segmentation I see several segments show zero members, but when I recreate the rules with a smartlist I see many people in the list.  Has anyone experienced anything like this?  Am I missing something basic about the way segments work?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I built email send smart campaigns to then pull into my nurture streams. When I select Program, my programs are not showing as an option in the drop down. I have enured that "Member of Engagement Program" is in the smart campaigns. What else could it be? TIA

I am attempting to automate an email send for users who have updated their email address.  These email addresses come from a lead list upload, so the "data value change" is not always obvious. The system they are coming from also capitalizes all records, so when they are updated into marketo (when a prior record existed) it shows that there was a data value change even though the actual email did not change. ex: Original: email@email.comChange Data Value from email@email.com to EMAIL@EMAIL.COM Does anyone know how i might be able to manage this? I want to be able to identify when a unique email address was updated into a lead record.  

Our company's industry is aligned to software and currently our communication limits is once per day and 2 per 7 day rolling period. We are considering making changes to our communication limits, but curious as to what other's have as their communication limits and any testing you did to come to the decision of what your comm limits should be. We are trying to add emoji icon in Subject Line, when we try to  Approve and close displaying  error. We are unable to save the email. Do we have any settings to be enabled for accepting the icon this in Subject Line.
