Hello,I would like to know if there is a way for a single Person in Marketo to create multiple Leads in SFDC.Our sales organization uses SFDC CRM's Lead object not on a "per customer (person)" basis, but rather on a "per inquiry (submission)" basis.This means that whenever a form is submitted in Marketo, we need to create a new Lead in SFDC for each inquiry.For example, if a person with the email address aaa@abc.com submits the following inquiries:1) February 27 at 10:00 AM – Submitted a form inquiring about [Product A]2) February 27 at 10:03 AM – Submitted a form inquiring about [Service B]In Marketo, these form submissions will update the same Person record (aaa@abc.com).However, in SFDC, each submission needs to create a separate Lead record (Lead duplication by email is allowed in SFDC).Additionally, we are fine with the 'SFDC Lead ID' value stored in Marketo’s Person record continuously updating to the latest created Lead ID.Could you confirm the best way to configure Marketo so t

I've been tasked with something that's a bit out of my depth. Here's a quick rundown of the process I'm supposed to enact:1. Person gets email with a link to fill out a Gravity Form on our own website2. Marketo sends data about the person (including their email address and some other attributes) to the form3. The form sees this info coming and hides any fields that are prefilled from the form4. Person fills out any missing info and hits "Apply" button. Sees "Thanks for applying" messageIn an ideal situation, Marketo will have all of the data needed by the form and upon clicking the email link, theyn will just see a "thanks for applying" message and be done with it. At first I thought, "I can just append the data to the URL generated when they click the link" but I'm definitely not going to do that with someone's email address. Friday Question #2 - possibly related to my first question about RCM & Success Path Analyzer.   When searching for Opportunities in the Opportunity Influence Analyzer (I'm setting up a few reports to show leadership as examples of how helpful this report can be in showing Marketing influence on Closed/Won Opps), it appears that there are Opportunities missing in the list after selecting an Account to review (the time frame is "All Time").   I'm using MS Dynamics alongside the report to check I'm pulling the right information and here are the issues I'm noticing:   There are multiple versions of the same Account despite there only being one showing in MS Dynamics (they each have different IDs shown at the end of the name - I'm assuming Marketo is still seeing a deactivated Account?) Using an example Account, when I select the correct one (verified by said ID in MS Dynamics), I get an on-page popup that tells me there were no activities on the account during the selec

We are noticing that in our Sync Field Details, where we check off the CRM fields to sync, the fields that were checked are now unchecked. What can trigger this to happen? This is a recurring issue and I don't know how to fix this. We have to keep checking manually that the fields are still checked and syncing.    CRM is Dynamics if that matters.

Hello my Community Pals!   I'm currently doing some data cleanup for records that don't have a Microsoft Type and there are plenty that have run through a previous Marketo Smart Campaign driving records into a MS Dynamics campaign that has failed due to an uncaught exception. I'm using a Batch Campaign to push them over now and get this error for every record in the campaign:   The campaign exists in MS Dynamics and there are other members of the related program that synced over via the related Smart Campaign so I don't understand what the issue is here.    Is it because I'm trying to update via the Batch Campaign? When I search the error online, the AI overview tells me a few things: ...because the "Add to Microsoft Campaign" feature is currently not active or is not configured properly for batch operations; essentially, you can't add people to a Microsoft Dynamics campaign using a batch process in your current setup. I have a WordPress website w/ embedded Marketo forms. We use them for general contact or registration to webinars, events, etc. When someone registers for a webinar, I am trying to find a solution that Marketo (or WP) would create a dynamic or tokenized return URL that send them back to the WP success page where their video will be embedded. Currently it's not dynamic, so anyone could easily figure out how to bypass registration for any webinar. Has anyone here been able to get success urls to be dynamic and active in WP so I can keep these webinars behind a wall? A 2nd ask would be if there is any way to make them expire after a certain amount of views or days.  Thanks in advance! 

I’m looking for the best way to tag individual contacts based on their interests. Specifically, if a contact engages with content related to a specific product—such as clicking on an email about our postcard product or filling out a form related to it—I’d like to automatically tag them with “Interested in Postcards.”I’d like to set this up for multiple products so we can better segment and personalize our marketing. What’s the best approach for implementing this in Marketo?

Does Stream 1 of an engagement program need transition rules if I want to send it to members of a smart list? From my research, I think the answer is no, but posing the question here just in case. From what I have read and seen on Marketo, transition rules in a stream of an engagement program need a "trigger", and "Member of Smart List" is not a trigger. So, I set up a SEPARATE smart campaign with these rules:Smart List: Member of Smart List = Name of Smart ListFlow: Add to Engagement Program; Stream: Stream 1 I want members to move to Stream 2 if they click a certain link in the email in Stream 1, so I added the trigger "Clicked Link in Email" and flow step "Change Engagement Program Stream to Stream 2" to the transition rules for Stream 2.  Please let me know if all of this is correct. Hello, I watched @SanfordWhiteman 's webinar on implementing Google reCAPTCHA V3 in Marketo and shared it with the web dev team for my client. Hi, does anyone know if we extract data from Marketo to an external database using an API connection once or twice a day, will it reduce the number. of API calls used per day? Alternatively, we're not exporting all the tables and data from Marketo today but still use between 10 and 15K API calls per day. Is there a way we can reduce the daily usage, even if it means to send the data in bulk once or twice a day?  Thank you. 

Hi Everyone, I'm currently working on an HTML email template and running into an issue where Microsoft Outlook adds unwanted gaps above and below an image (Property Image) inside a table. The image is supposed to fit the full height of its table cell, but in Outlook, there’s extra spacing around it. A gaps appears above & below the image, even when padding: 0; margin: 0; is applied. Sometimes Marketo automatically unsubscribes people with the reason being "lead unsubscribed from list unsubscribe". Anyone knows what that means?

We aim to resend them the same email after X months if they revisit the page. Initially, I began developing this campaign using an engagement program; however, I encountered some limitations, particularly the inability to resend the same email to the same individual through the engagement program. If the intention was to send the email only once, the engagement program would suffice. However, since we want to implement resending, I believe a default program could be more effective. I have a request from a business partner who is looking to have a specific value filled in a checkboxes field based on the referral page. Currently they have a static Contact sales page where they link to to from a CTA button on the page.  The form embedded on the page has a checkboxes field with a list of products and the customer can select multiple products of interest.  They would like to keep the experience the same but want one of the values of the checkboxes field pre-checked based on the prior page that they arrived from. Example: The form has a Checkboxes field with the following product values and a customer can select what products they are interest in. - Apples- Oranges - Mangos - Pineapples   A customer who is on the Mangos product page clicks the contact CTA and goes to the contact sales page and sees that Mangos checkbox is selected. Hi everyone,  I'm conducting testing on a revision to our email preference center. One of our forms has pre-fill enabled, and for the majority of testers, it's working as expected. However, one tester is experiencing issues.  Here's the flow:1. The tester fills out the initial sign-up form.2. They receive a confirmation email with a button to 'View Email Preferences'. 3. After clicking the button, they are taken to the form/landing page that pre-fill in enabled, but their information doesn't pre-fill and the activity from viewing that page isn't logged in Marketo activity.  The button URL includes: ?mkt_unsubscribe=1&mkt_tok##MKT_TOK##The Unsubscribe hyperlink includes: ?mkt_unsubscribe=1 Both of these buttons have been working for other testers across multiple browsers and devices. Hi, I am new to the Salesforce and Marketo integration. My settings show that integration is working as it should, but when I select Salesforce Campaign Sync on a program, I have two problems. 1. If I select one of the campaign options that pops up, I get the error message 'Salesforce Campaign Sync is initializing. Please allow up to an hour before syncing programs'.This same message has been appearing for days now so I have allowed much more than an hour! 2. The campaign dropdown only has a few options within it - not all the active campaigns visible when I check on the Salesforce side. Has anyone experienced either of these issues?

Hello!Here with another probably basic question, but I am stuck on this.We have an email that basically looks for data points within one custom object to "qualify" them for content and then looks at a second custom object to determine what content to show.My issue is that there are cases where the second object does not exist / has no data for the Lead.I tried doing something like this: #if ( $digitalBankingProfileList.isEmpty() ) Object does not exist #else Object exists #end This is probably an inaccurate way to check as it results in showing the object as existing even on a Lead that clearly has no data in that object. I am assuming there's a better way to check for this?

In Marketo guided landing pages, using the "hide" feature (via display: none) does not remove the hidden sections from the page's HTML. Instead, these sections—along with their resources like images, scripts, and styles—are still loaded by the browser, leading to performance issues and heavier templates.I came across this discussion: Removing a Landing Page Element Instead of Just Hiding It, but it didn’t work for us.Has anyone successfully implemented a method to fully remove these sections from the final HTML output? Are there best practices or alternative approaches to achieve this?

Hi All,  I am trying to use a currency value from a custom object as a token in an email and can't seem to figure out the right Velocity Scripting to have it format correctly. I want the value to appear in the email formatted as $123.45.
