Adobe Marketo Engage

Currently MSI is not supported on the new Unified Interface of Microsoft Dynamics. I'd love this functionality to get added to the product road map so our sales and marketing teams can leverage MSI in our CRM.

There are many cases where I would like to report on the number of people added to a program over time, and have those results shared with me on a regular cadence.   For example: I would like to report on the number of people that became a campaign member for an automated email campaign per month.  Jan = 100 Feb = 200 March = 30   Today the only way to see these results is by creating individual smart lists.

It would be great to have "select all" accounts feature in TAM where all the accounts need to be marked as named accounts if needed. Currently, we have to select accounts manually.

Hello, Allow to set a number in the Random Sample filter instead of a percentage is key when we have batch sending to be done by hour. This is key when we want to deliver in China, creating multiple campaigns is too heavy and too manual.   e.g., I have to deliver a newsletter to 80K Chinese contacts and the rhythm is 200 emails/hourCurrently there is no choice than creating multiple campaigns and this is taking ages and is not humanly sustainable. With the Random Sample set to 200 as limit we can set a limited number of campaigns working with recurrence and excluding the ones who already received the email.Allowing a by hour recurrence would be awesome too 🙂

Issue: Marketo is able to create a marketing list in CRM. That list is created with a standard naming convention based on the last 12 digits of the campaign ID the list is being related to: Mkto-Leads-Last12DigitOfCampCrmID Mkto-Contacts-Last12DigitOfCampCrmID Unfortunately, this is causing confusion because the list names are being duplicated, even though they are  attached to different campaigns. There are a lot of instances where the last 12 digits (or more) of a campaign ID are identical between several different campaign.   I'd love to see this improved to allow custom names when creating a CRM Marketing list.

Today, if you attempt to use the addHiddenFields form method with Marketo's JavaScript Forms API when attempting to write into a Program Member field, the platform requires that you have at least one program member field populated on the form itself inside Marketo. For example, if I have PMCF fields 1-10, you must have at least "PMCF Field 1" hidden on the form directly for PMCF Fields 1-10 to record.   This requirement is not in place for standard Marketo fields; could we please get the ability to directly write into PMCF fields without this additional step? This becomes problematic when needing to adjust forms at scale.

The Outlook Marketo Add-in will only track the interactions for the first recipient and additional recipients' actions are associated with the first contact. If an email has two recipients, Recipient 2 opens an email/link, that interaction is inaccurately logged with the Recipient 1.   the Marketo outlook add-in should be improved to provide unique tracking for each email recipient. This allows accurate reporting on client/prospects engagement.

When you subscribe to a smart list, it sends you an email with a big DOWNLOAD REPORT button, the name of the smart list linked to same, and the criteria used to create the smart list.    What's missing from this email is the one piece of information I actually want, which is how many people are in the list. I use these subscriptions for monthly reporting on the size of the various audiences.    Adding a single line to the email - Smart List Person Count - would save the trouble of going into Marketo to view the smart list or downloading the report.

All 6 people in our marketing team produce different emails each week which have to be approved by various managers and also sent to personnel on different sites for information and sample sending just isn't practical.   It would REALLY useful and far more work-flow efficient if we were able to use the preview or 'view in browser' URL to send as a link to anyone that needs to view it.

Right now, there is no option to search or sort by folders in the filter tree in marketing activities. This is particularly frustrating when trying to identify shared folders. It would be nice to have a "folders" option in the filter tree, with the sub-option of  "shared folders." There may be other sub-options that would be helpful as well - if you think of one feel free to comment it below!

In the new interface for email performance report setup, the selector/filter for emails has poor contrast against a white background (as in the image below). Can I suggest making the contrast of the highlighted/selected emails starker, so visually impaired users can navigate this with more ease?

Update Marketo Sales Insights for Dynamics 365 so that the dates can be displayed in the Tennant Date format - Australia is DD/MM/YYYY, while they only format available is MM/DD/YYYY

It seems like marketo logs the last 10 email aliases used to send test emails to. Would like the ability to remove these as sometimes we send test emails to 3rd party partners we work with and they don't need to be on the list; don't want to accidentally send them an email.

At the moment there is no way to see a list of all fields which are blocking updates from sources. You have to click into each field one by one to see if the field is blocking updates from sources.   There should be an easy view where all fields that are blocking updates can be seen.   Or when doing the export of fields include "Blocked Sources" as an extra column so we can do our own filtering in sheets

Texts data of several lines can be recorded to data field (of Text area type), but when we insert it to email with token, it's shown as 1 line.   Data of several lines can be inserted to email only when it's sent by web form trigger and only in text type email. (I and Marketo Support tested it and confirmed the way it is)   I hope that Marketo updates the system so that texts of several lines can be inserted email with token.

Would like to see outbound platform level webhooks - particularly when a program is created or when an Email program is scheduled

Currently, if a channel is hidden, its statuses are still selectable in program status picklists, which can lead to major bloating since all channel statuses are now shown in picklists instead of only the relevant channel. It would be nice if these statuses behaved the same way as archived lists - technically hidden from the dropdown but possible to populate by typing in the exact name (for historical reporting, etc).

Currently Matched Segments are only queried by Marketo RTP at the start of a visitor's session (lasts approximately 30 minutes) which means that visitor behaviour during that session, although changing the Matched Segments within Marketo, is not reflected in the way RTP behaves on the website in Real Time.   A use case is semi-gated content where the content is only directly available if the visitor is known and subscribed to newsletters otherwise a subscription form is displayed.  Currently, completion of the subscription form changes the Matched Segments but the visitor sees no change within the session.

As an integration developer, I would like to use calls to the "Browse" endpoints of Marketo's assets more effectively. For example, the following API calls have two optional parameters, earliestUpdatedAt and latestUpdatedAt:   /rest/asset/v1/emails.json /rest/asset/v1/programs.json /rest/asset/v1/smartCampaigns.json /rest/asset/v1/staticLists.json This is incredibly useful when trying to manage large-volume instances, as you can constrain to ongoing behavior. However, this ability to filter is missing from several other asset calls, despite them being similar in nature and reporting updatedAt details when called:   /rest/asset/v1/channels.json /rest/asset/v1/folders.json /rest/asset/v1/forms.json Would it be possible to get these two parameters added for these three specific calls? There's likely merit in adding them elsewhere (e.g., snippets.json) but I'm only looking specifically for these three.

Email Open Activity in the rest API is missing the client ip address. The Ip is included for the event type Visit Web Page, though. It would be nice to see all information available to the frontend be included for all activity calls on via the rest api - for sanity and consistency.

Would be AMAZING if Marketo could include a heatmap for email click performance. Being able to see the literal email body itself with click data on the specific locations of the links that have been clicked would be such a fantastic feature. Our team creates this manually each month with our newsletters and it's always rather time-consuming.    Thank you!

When sorting certain items (tokens are the first thing that comes to mind), uppercase and lowercase letters count as different "entities" and are not sorted together. So all the uppercase A tokens go first, then all the lowercase a tokens are in after that. This doesn't make any sense. Sorting should occur by letter regardless of the letter's case.

When I take a look at the list of Email Campaigns / Events on Marketo Sales Insight,  there exists all of the Email Campaigns / Events that is planed in the future on Marketo. But if the list only includes the related Email Campaigns / Events to the selected(showed) Account / Contact on Salesforce page, it would become more useful function, I feel. What do you think of this??

nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/people-performance-report-group-by   Hello!   "Group By" is a feature of People Performance Report Settings that cannot be removed. But in some - actually in most - cases where we have A) Custom Columns and/or B) a Smart List filter on that report, we don't want any grouping and would love to delete it - which we can't.     See also: nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/people-performance-report-group-by   Thanks!
