Hi Everyone,I saw a few posts on Google Ads integration with Marketo and I had a few questions about this. We recently did the integration with Google Adwords using Launchpoint. Since the integration we are receiving a "Google Ads Warning" the error logs consist of the following errors:   1) EXPIRED_EVENT 2) CLICK_CONVERSION_ALREADY_EXISTS   "We did check with the google team on this and this was their response.   For your follow-up question on the CLICK_CONVERSION_ALREADY_EXISTS issue, only the first upload should be counted. In addition, we recommend not uploading the same GCLID in the same method as the implementation from this guide. Hello, One of our supplier helping us to deploy Marketo used progressive profiling script from @sanfordwhiteman on our Website to get benefit from Progressive Profiling when Landing Page isn't hosted on Marketo. Progressive profiling is working fine when the contact is recognized. However, for unknown people reaching our form, we noticed a small issue related to predefined fields. Actually, we do have a field to select the country that is set to a predefined value. When person isn't known and recognized, the default value is removed. We did try to debug script to understand what is happening. In debug mode, we saw that at the begining of the display of the page, our default value for country is well displayed. However, later call of simpleDTO script is removing the value. Hi, we're running a smart campaign and from the email link performance we can see that 5 people have clicked on a link to download an asset (image 1), however,  when I run a smart list to see who has downloaded the asset it doesn't return any results (image 2). There was also a separate smart campaign flow that was supposed to push any clicks in to a Salesforce campaign but no one has been pushed through that either, which was what made us question this. Can anyone explain why those 5 people that clicked aren't showing up anywhere?      

Is there a way we can view how much time is spent viewing an email in Marketo?

Marketo keeps resyncing one contact hundreds of times due to Opportunity Change, but the "Field Change Data" is identical in each resync. Can you help me understand?

Hi - If you have a Marketo instance integrated with SF, is there a way to create a list (IN SF) that shows the Sales team recent form fills, web visits, etc. in SF instead of having to go to a specific lead/contact and see that they filled out a form? Thanks!

I currently have a page that displays the form in a Lightbox when clicking a button. There are two instances on the page that opens the form. One in the hero and another at the bottom of the page.   The form uses a custom thank you script as well. I'm trying to create an email with variable dynamic content blocks.   For context, a lead will be imported and mapped to either one or multiple segments. I want to be able to send them an email with a generic intro and then one or multiple dynamic content blocks based on what segments they are mapped to.     I have built out the dynamic blocks for each segment and then cleared all content for the default blocks.    The issue I'm having is the spacing between the content blocks. The default blocks leave a blank space instead of nothing.   Is there a workaround or another best practice for what I'm trying to accomplish?

Hi AllWe have duplicate leads coming in from the web forms. We found a lead in the system where 8 duplicate records were created in Marketo from the same form, and same details. The time-stamp on all the records is almost the same. When I tested at my end, the form worked fine and no duplicates were created. Any idea how this might have happened?RegardsRachit

Using SubmitForm API to create person record. I downloaded all fields object and found Lead Source as listed in the Marketo Person record fields having "leadSource" as it's API name. But I am not able to add that field in the Marketo form on which data is getting submitted via API. As its not in form definition getting below error.

E. g. using the Lead lookup endpoint /rest/v1/leads.json and retraive the unicque code via the field parameter "&fields=id,firstName,marketoUniqueCode"? I am new to Marketo and trying to set up a smart campaign that will run as a batch email daily based on qualifications: SFDC created date, email address is not empty, person status is open. I can validate that the information required in my filter selection is available at the contact level, however the smart campaign is not populating with any members. Am I missing any steps to get the contacts flowing into the smart campaign for email deployment?

Most users know that Marketo usually retries email sends for 24 hours.[1] If neither a fully-successful nor fully-failed SMTP transaction can be completed in that time, the email will Soft Bounce.   But what does it mean to “retry for 24 hours”? Are there tens of thousands of attempts, the server retrying right after the previous attempt fails? (Yikes, no.) Does it try every hour on the hour? (Also no.)   You don’t need to think about this every day. But the question comes up occasionally, and it’s good to have at least a rough answer.   For example: sales complains that a contact didn’t get that day’s cast. After way too much hold music, you find the contact’s IT team disclosed mail problems earlier in the day, but they’re now resolved. The last entry in the Activity Log is Send Email.   How do you intuit what Marketo is doing under the hood and give a prediction for when they might get that still-queued email? Working with a client recently I noticed something quite interesting about bot detection and the impact on open rates.   If you are using bot detection in logging mode, any email open that is done by a person AFTER also being done by a bot will not be recorded.   The rationale is simple, perfectly reasonable, but still very frustrating.   Marketo records one and only one open per email per lead.  Normally this is exactly as it should be.  However, if a bot opens the email first and you are in bot detection logging mode, then THIS is the open that gets recorded.  If a person subsequently opens the email, then this does not get recorded (it's not the first open after all).   As best I can determine, there isn't a way around this other than to either turn bot detection off OR use bot detection in filtering mode.     My particular use case We were looking into Click to Open ratios.  To counteract the effects of the filtering issue, we

Hi!I'm implementing an SSFS that can set or change a field of a lead in the callback. The documentation I use: https://github.com/adobe/Marketo-SSFS-Service-Provider-Interface Wait Until (API Name: waitUntil) - custom datetime lead field This is the data I callback to Marketo. The format is described in the documentation. The field mapping is set up according to the documentation in my serviceDefiniton and looks correct in the Marketo interface. But the "Wait Until" lead field remains empty. It's the same with the other datetime fields. There is no problem with the string fields.What can it be related to?  

We migrated to Marketo a little while ago and migrated existing contacts from our previous automation system and our CRM environment. None of these records has an acquisition program. We're planning to run a batch campaign that will set the acquisition program for all of these to an operational program, essentially calling the out as previously existing. I couldn't find much information as to whether this was a good or bad idea, so I thought I'd ask if there's another, better opinion about what to do.
