Hi All, We are trying to save unique values in Brand Preference field in Marketo. Here’s a brief explanation of the current setup and test results:Each form submission uses a hidden Brand field with values like AA or BB.A trigger campaign updates the Brand Preference field using the Brand value. (Screen Shot Attached) Test Results: 1st Form Submission (Brand = AA)  Record values:Email : Test@test.comBrand = AA, Brand Preference = AA 2nd Form Submission (Brand = BB)Record values:Email : Test@test.comBrand = BB, Brand Preference = BB:: AA 3rd Form Submission (Brand = BB) againRecord values: Email: Test@test.comBrand = BB, Brand Preference = BB :: BB :: AA The trigger campaign appends Brand values to Brand Preference appending with duplicates. We're in the process of implementing reCAPTCHA v3 on our Marketo forms, following the native CAPTCHA integration recently rolled out by Marketo. Form submissions are working smoothly, and we're successfully capturing metrics in the Google reCAPTCHA console. The only issue we're facing is with the reCAPTCHA badge:- Occasionally, it appears but disappears within milliseconds.- At other times, the badge simply fails to load altogether. LP - http://504-zrn-403.mktoweb.com/lp/504-ZRN-403/Test-reCAPTCHA.html

Hello everyone, I'm currently developing some self-service flow steps. While the overall installation and usage process works smoothly, I’ve been wondering: has anyone successfully gotten label translations to work? According to Adobe’s SSFS Interface, each attribute should support one or more i18n objects, defining the corresponding field label in the desired language. While en_US is mandatory, other languages should also be supported. From what I understand, it should be possible to add translations for the languages available in the Marketo UI.Marketo only offers UI support for a fixed set of languages, While English works perfectly, I haven’t been able to get any other language to display correctly.What’s your experience with this? Hello everyone, I'm currently developing some self-service flow steps. While the overall installation and usage process works smoothly, I’ve been wondering if anyone has successfully gotten the /brandIcon and /serviceIcon endpoints to work—or more precisely, if anyone has seen Marketo actually request these icons. My Swagger definition includes the endpoints exactly as specified in the SSFS Interface CFA Swagger. The endpoints are live and return the expected images without issue. I’ve tested various image formats—from PNG and GIF to SVG (as shown in Adobe’s "Look Up" example). However, Marketo doesn’t display any icons, and according to my application logs, the endpoints are never even called.Has anyone managed to get the icons to display in Marketo?Kind regardsWolfram

Has anyone used Treasure Chest's "Disable Smart Campaign on Archive" feature? How is the experience, if any? Will it applicable all smart campaigns including executable?  Will this soon become a real feature, as it is Treasure Chest?

A client recently asked about connecting Marketo to Clay and we were dismayed at Clay’s official docs: Snippet from Clay docs   See how they recommend Request Token Encoding: None? That’s totally wrong, since: There are {{lead.tokens}} in the body, i.e. request tokens. The body uses URL encoding, indicated by the & and = delimiters. You must URL-encode tokens in a URL-encoded body. This webhook setup instantly breaks with a Company like Jack & Jill Construction. It’s kind of inconceivable that they tested it at all.   Moreover, when you actually set up a webhook receiver in the Clay app, it says the payload is supposed to be JSON-encoded, not URL-encoded! So their doc feels like a hallucination. You should actually be using a payload like this: { "first_name" : {{lead.First Name}}, "last_name" : {{lead.Last Name}} }   And of course set Request Token Encoding: JSON.   Why would you ever use Request Token Encoding: None? Hi there We're going through the new Advanced business analtyics reporting and we're noticing that the months are formated as "text" which is causing the sorting to be alphabetical rather than chronoligical. Is there any hack to easily fix this?  For example in the email analysis, when you create a report with a Sent Date - See screenshot Not everyone's fiscal year is calendar year based so this formatting makes it wonky

I have an engagement program running with lead scoring that is tracking opens, clicks and form fills. Once the lead hits MQL, it triggers a notification to the sales team who is following up with these leads. Unfortunately, it seems that most of the activity is non-human (email security filters or link-scanning bots). A few recommendations have been given, but I'm not completely satisfied with them. Honeypot (Doesn't make sense for us)Bot Activity Filter (Is not flagging these bots)My major concern here is that sales reps are having a negative experience with marketing bringing them warm leads if they keep turning out to be bots. It's very important to our team to have a strong relationship with our sales teams so I don't want this to negatively impact their view of the tool and marketing. Has anyone implemented wait steps or constraints into their filters or flow steps that have been helpful in avoiding scoring this activity? Hello folks, I just wanted to ask if anybody can point me towards the right direction in understanding how to create effective nurture programs. We have nurture set up in our Marketo instance but I do understand different orgs/products will have different set up for nurturing leads, different techniques.So, I need to understand the steps that I should consider in general when I am about to create nurtures, Do's, Dont's etc. Any material that I can go through, please share the link as well. Thanks in advance

  Note: This blog is intended for users inside Marketo that have permissions to access the Admin section of Marketo   As an admin, one of the key aspects of getting your Marketo instance up and running is getting your landing page domain aliases (aka "CNAMEs") set up and generating an SSL certificate for each (or even an existing instance - maybe you have brought some new brands on board, for example!) Previously, this was a step that required a support ticket, but now you can self serve and generate the SSL certificate directly in Marketo's UI.   First, navigate to the Admin tab > Landing Pages from the navigation tree. When you click New > Domain Alias, you can now click a checkbox that says "Generate SSL Certificate." After putting in your other details (i.e. Domain Alias, Default Page, etc) and checking the box, click Save.         Once done, navigate to the "Rules" tab and you should see the name of your domain alias and verify that the "

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but it doesn't hurt to ask. So before I flag this as a feature request:  Is there a way to set up the list-unsubscribe header to opt people out by domain, or even better, by email address?  We run several lines of business out of the same Marketo account. For example, we have our main domain for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons - plasticsurgery.org - and another domain for a regional society we manage, the Virginia Society of Plastic Surgeons - vasps.org. One person can be a member of both, so we don't have separate workspaces set up.  If someone gets an email from vasps.org and decides to click the "This message is from a mailing list, unsubscribe?" button at the top if a Gmail or Apple Mail window, it will unsubscribe them from everything coming out of our Marketo account, even if they really only wanted to opt out of VASPS emails.  I do have a followup email that goes out to tell people that t

Hi, We are using Marketo script (for example landing.mycompany.com/js/forms2/js/forms2.min.js) to use Newsletter subscription form on our website, this script takes 2-3 seconds load time which has impact on overall page load time. I am looking for ways to optimize Marketo script, please suggest if there are any alternate approaches. We are using loading this asynchronously. Also, even though we are loading the above script only once, we see a second call in the browser network tab, the 2nd call takes about 1 second time. When checked with Marketo support on 2nd network, support team mentioned that this could not be avoided.
