It would be great if there was a recycling bin or trash can that would hold data for a set amount of time before it's permanently delete. Similar to the SFDC recycle bin where we can go in and see what's been deleted the last 21 days, and also as an admin I'm able to go in and see what other users have deleted out of the system and if need be retrive the files.

Aside from the label denoting the (sandbox) UI environment, would it be possible for it to be made visually a bit more different so that users working across both environment can clearly denote its the sandbox.  Maybe the header ribbon be a different colour? 

It would be really helpful to be able to export everywhere a Segmentation is used; we have a Marketable segmentation and it won't approve and support suggested we remove some of the references and it's time consuming to pass of where we want to remove it vs. where it needs to stay to other team members. 

I've created a number of custom views for lead lists, and it'd be great if I could share these views with my team. There should be an option to make your views shareable to the rest of your team, but not editable by anyone other than the view owner. Sharing views would be epecially great for those who are new to Marketo!

Version numbers were added to the URL of every assets in Design Studio. Version numbers are designed to counter act a caching system so that there is always an up-to-date version every time the desired asset is refreshed or changed. This is fine, if there is a caching system that forces you to do so, which Marketo does not. If a cache is enabled that forces you to add a version hook at the end, removing or changing the version number to an older version should change it back to that previous version, again, this is not the case in Marketo as all previous versions of the PDF or image are updated when replaced making version control pointless.   This needs to be removed or, at the very least, an option to remove it (and no, copying the url and deleting it manually after pasting is not a solution).   Also, FIX THE DESIGN STUDIO SEARCH!!!

The search function in the Design Studio seems to have gone backwards in terms of functionality. Searching by keywords no longer produces results, rather you must know the exact name of the file you are searching for, which is not feasible. Since we can no longer toggle back to the "old" experience, this is going to create a significant decrease in user-friendliness.

I wish there was an easier way to delete custom objects without having to manually remove any campaigns or smartlists that they are associated with. This is especially tedious for custom objects that are referenced many, many times. We will be creating new custom objects to replace some older objects as we move to a new CRM.

Allow native integration to sync additional fields (other than Company Name and Job Title) to Gotowebinar when using a Marketo landing page and form for events registration, as Gotowebinar analytics dashboard is more user-friendly for non-Marketo users. 

In Bizible/Marketo Measure, Ad Destination URL is available for LinkedIn Sponsored Content, but not LGF. Please make available for LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms.   Want to be able to capture the url of what was promoted and what the user fills out lead gen form for. The landing page URL is usually not the same as the Ad destination URL. Would be able to standardize "Landing Page URL" from other sources to "Ad Destination URL" from LGF.

When utilising API developers note: the following endpoints: Get Email by Id, Get Email by Name, Get Emails are only able to retrieve the subject line of emails that have been created as a template but does not have the ability to pull the subject lines of campaigns that have been created for A/B testing or a Champion/Challenger test. As per the developer notes below there is currently no way to pull the test subject lines and all these fields are returned as a blank. This is a mission critical reporting metric for any EMS (Email Marketing System) and should be something that comes out the box. I have been a Marketo for many years, and have yet to figure out why there is no recipient time zone functionality for Default and Event/Webinar Program types (only for email) - is this something that is in the pipeline? Or am I missing something as to why this will never be possible?

For our instance, we are looking to implement two different chatbots for our two brands.   Currently in my dynamic chat settings, I can upload a single-color theme, logo(icon) and Privacy policy link. However, for both our brands the color theme, logos and Privacy policies are different. Could you help with a way to set up two properties/bots/workspaces in our instance?   We have been using Dynamic Chat for 2 months and are extremely impressed by the initial numbers. We want to now migrate our other bots to Dynamic Chat as well. We have a strong buy-in from our leadership to show success with this platform for both the brands.

Hi, it would be great if we could pull a similar report as the Email Link Click report, but for landing pages. so we could see the # of clicks on each link on our landing pages. We can currently pull one-by-one using smartlists, but it only shows the people we have in our Marketo system, not the gross # of clicks like we could see in an Email Link Click report.

The Campaign Queue can be an important indicator of system health.  Since excessive volume in the queue can be an indicator of critical issues such as long delays in Syncing or processes completing out of the expected order, timely awareness is important.  However, it is not always convenient or possible to view/refresh the Campaign Queue at all times of the day. It would be great if there were Notifications for the Campaign Queue for excessive volume or delays. This could be the number of campaigns, number of leads in a campaign or total number of leads currently backlogged. To deal with the different needs and activity levels of various clients, the notifiction could be based on user set thresholds.In general, it's always a good idea to keep an eye on the Campaign Queue when testing and activating new campaigns.  However, sometimes an excessive backlog can develop due to things out of your control and knowledge. Often we need to import a series of different lists, we would like a view with the following to the lead database.1. List of all imports with the name of the file, date and time, and results (leads updated and new leads).2. For in process imports, a status (i.e. in process, importing, completed).Some imports don't work, so it would be ideal to get a status message back on what is the cause (i.e field format, etc).

At the moment it is only possible to manage Person records in the Marketo UI and to some degree also Company records. That means that anything else needs to be handled via CRM or the (especially with custom integrations) via the API. I am fully onboard with not allowing any marketing user to freely make any more changes to the database. There is however a use case for managing some data via the Admin screen of the UI, so the need for development resources becomes less. Some topics where this would be interesting: Deleting Company records that are orphaned (no contacts, opportunities, custom objects associated anymore). Deleting Opportunity records that are orphaned (no opportunity role or company links anymore). Deleting historical data in Custom Objects. Any other use cases you can see?

When building a template it would be nice if there was a way to lock/unlock mktoList values. Our templates are coded so our marketers have all the tools needed to build an email or landing page, stay on brand and not need to know code.  A great feature we use to do this is mktoList values. We enter values so they have a set list to choose from. Recently we discovered that even with a set list, someone can still change the value using the input field. For example, adding something like the image size lock to the mktoList would be a nice option as it would help avoid possible human error or a missed QA and could be turned on or off.Something like: mktoLockList="true/false"

Currently, when multiple records are merged, the most recent date of the New Person activity is presented as the Created date for the newly merged record. This gives an inaccuarte "age" for the record, and implies that the email address has not existed within Marketo as long as it has. The shared history of the merged record can be seen - with both New Person activities - but should not the Created match the date the email was originally created in the database?  The issue can best be seen when pulling a SmartList based on the "Person was created" filter and either the "On or before"/"On or after" conditions. Sort the Created column, and notice values outside the given condition.  

The September 2023 release updated the Used By Tab for Design Studio Assets. We use the "used by" function to confirm assets are used in appropriate workflows. The column cuts off the results so you have to hover over each option. It made a quick eyeball validation more complicated and added no value. Go back to old process or at least allow users to adjust the column widths.
