Hello All, We're having integrations between Marketo and Oktopost. We're able to track some data about actions that a users performed in Social media. For example, we can see that a user clicked on a link on a post in Linkedin, or wrote a coment and so on. We would like our interesting moments to look like this: Clicked [social link] on a Twitter / Facebook / LinkedIn post.   We're receiveing the folowing fields for the logs coming from social media: Could somebody provide a solution how to place data from the fields highlighted on a screenshot to interesting moments or to use it in the Smart Campaigns for the future?   Thank you.

Hello, I am trying to reference email module local variables in tokens (Velocity and Rich Text), but it appears my email will not render the results. For example, I have an email module which can set the color of a hyperlink. The link style typically needs to be set to color: ${footerLinkColor}; so the selected color from the module menu appears. This works when adding the style directly to the email or within a snippet. However, this method does not work when using a token. In either a velocity script token or a rich text token, I add the following, but the color will not render: <a href="mysite.com" style="color: ${footerLinkColor}">Unsubscribe</a> Everything else renders and works correctly except for the link color. Please let me know if there is any thing to do, so this can work. Thank you!

Hi,   In my emailer, there is only one call-to-action (CTA) with a configured checkout URL. The client is providing us the data of registered users. When a recipient clicks on the checkout URL, they will be directed to their cart. After proceeding with the payment and successfully completing the transaction, another URL should be captured by Marketo to track the conversion. If a person clicks the checkout link he will be tagged as a success, will they be tagged as a success again if they reach the transaction success URL from the checkout page?    In this scenario, do we need to maintain only a single criterion for tracking the transaction success link landed from the checkout URL? or we can keep both and track success for both ? Hi Everyone,   We have three custom objects (CO) that are no longer required. We would like to delete these custom objects but they are linked in campaign and smart lists.  In order to delete CO, we first manually need to unlink the reference of this CO from campaign and smart lists where it is used.    I would like to know the following 1. Is there any API available that will help in unlinking the reference of CO? 2. Will there be any negative impact on lead activity once we unlink the CO from campaign and smart lists?

I'm looking for some best practices for creating a global program hierarchy in Marketo Spanning across several regions across the globe. SFDC limitation is that all campaigns in a single hierarchy must have the same currency which could be a challenge if the global campaign hierarchy is grouped by growth themes globally. How is this circumvented in Marketo? I'm also looking for some best practices around campaign creation rights and processes, program reporting and general thumb rules around mandatory field values to be provided by a requestor when a request for program/campaign creation is logged. Hi, We have run an interesting moment flow for historical data and realized that there was an error. Interesting moments have not been pushed yet to our CRM. Is it possible to remove the interesting moments from the activity logs before data is synchronized? Cécile @ Talend

Hi All,   We have a Dynamic chat bot flow set up for new visitors however we've noticed that chatbot is triggering for known leads also.   Chatbot audience criteria used is : Email address = empty & SFDC lead if = empty   As per my understanding dynamic chat uses munchkin code to identify the known leads, does that also mean if an existing lead use new device and interacts with bot it will be treated as new lead and later will get merged automatically by Marketo ? if yes is there suggested workaround for it as we want only new leads to through the flow.   What are other possible scenarios that bot with criteria "email address =empty" will trigger for existing leads.   Regards

Hi everyone!   My team has been dealing with spam fills on our Marketo forms for a while. We did enable Captcha earlier this year but still keep getting massive amounts of spam fill. So we started looking for other options. One of which we're considering Akismet.   But we want to know if forms can integrate with Akismet? If not, are there any other plugins we should look into?

Hi All we have a contact us form on one of our sites and I am looking for a way to get to the activity log history for a specific form element. The issue that arose is that the people that were receiving the email alerts that were triggered when the form was filled out are no longer with the company so for the past 6 months that team was unaware of the queries and requests that were coming in from the site's form. I have created a smart list for who filled out the form and have a list of the people who submitted the form but it seems we need to manually look at each person record to view the actual history of the details of the form submit. We have it set up that we clear the form element after the email alert is sent as we reuse this form element in other forms.   Is the a way to get the form submit detail other than this manual way? Maybe through an API pull?   thanks, Kevin.

My team is looking to gate our content with a single form across our entire site. No matter where you submit the form, we want to then show the ungated content across the site. I'm hoping we can use KV for this, but I can't find a way for us to see that Marketo recognizes the user as a KV.Ideally our flow would be:1. Unknown user visits site, clicks link for a gated asset2. Modal with MKTO form pops up, user Submits form3. User gets direct access to the asset4. User returns to the site, MKTO recognizes them as a KV5. We are able to see that MKTO recognized them as a KV and when they click an asset we just bypass the modal and give them direct access.  Is it possible to see in the browser storage/cookie data when MKTO recognizes a KV so we can use that as a point to show certain content on our end (NOT using the custom HTML WYSIWYG editor in MKTO), or does KV recognition happen on MKTO's end when the form embed populates? @sanfordwhiteman I know you've probably got the de

Hi wondering what happens to the custom objects related to a person, when the person is deleted.  Is the custom object data removed along with the person deletion or will marketo retain orphan custom objects.  What impacts might this have ?   BR, Moritz

Hi Community   I've inherited an instance that unfortunately has a large portion of the database marked as unsubscribed when they shouldn't be. Going back to 2017 there are Leads that have never received an email from us and I'm trying to differentiate these from the ones that have legitimately unsubscribed from an email. Using the 'Not Was Sent Email', 'Not Opened Email', etc. filters the results are returning Leads that have received and unsubscribed from an email which I can see in their activity logs. I suspect they are showing in the results because of the data retention policy for email activity? Is there a way I can accurately segment this database to identify those that have never received an email from us vs those that have unsubscribed?

I am trying to build a program that will flip a lead to MQL after they have clicked the CTA on 2 separate emails. I initially built the programs as follows: The first program is triggered by a click on a relevant CTA. The flow places them on a list called '1 email click'. The second program is triggered by a click on a relevant CTA + the lead is already on the '1 email click' list, but not yet on a '2 email clicks' list. The flow adds them to the '2 email clicks' list. The issue I'm running into is that folks are being added to the '2 email clicks' list after clicking twice on the CTA on one email. Does anyone know of a way to have the 2nd click only 'count' if it is from a second email? I'd like this email to be running in the background at all times, so unfortunately using specific email constraints isn't feasible. Thank you so much!

We are planning to set up a new Marketo instance (fresh start & migrating two legacy instances into one), disable the existing sync and connect the new instance to the existing Salesforce instance. We have been working with Marketo support for months to pinpoint the cause but it continues to elude us.  Our SFDC/Marketo sync works when first creating a new contact in SFDC or updating a contact in SFDC. The record is properly created/updated in Marketo.  However; if an SFDC record exists in both SFDC and Marketo and is then deleted from Marketo, SFDC fails to recreate record in Marketo. We have tried toggling the Marketo Sync boolean field on the SFDC Contact but it doesn't repopulate on Marketo.   We have tested extensively and I have searched the forums but have not been able to find anything similar.  

For example - Person was sent an email AFTER filling in a particular form (and not a email relating to that form, unrelated campaign).   I can do Filled in Form X before <date> and was sent email X after <same date> but I dont want to center around a particular date, just an email send happening any time AFTER a specific form was filled in
