Hi,   Can we move program status in forward/backward ?    In my scenario, data is received twice a week, and there's a possibility that the next batch of data may include individuals already present in the previous batch. Such common records also must be targeted. The client requires a report that tracks sent, delivered, opened, clicked, and purchased counts. To achieve this, I've established a four-step channel with designated sequential step numbers. The campaign activity reports allow the client to observe counts based on trigger campaigns.   However, in cases where a person's status changes to "clicked checkout page" in the first round, but in the subsequent round, they didn't click the checkout page only opens the email, then it should be reclassified as "Opened." The Email Scripting documentation has the following hint:"For Marketo custom objects, you can reference second level custom objects with Parent-Child relationship.  e.g. Lead <- Parent <- Child" https://developers.marketo.com/email-scripting/   How do I go about actually creating such a custom object relationship?If I link the Parent object to the Lead, I am unable to create a link between the Child object and the Parent (does not show up as a linkable object).

I have a date field that I am pulling from a custom list, and I'm getting the date expected, but I want to take that date and add ten years to it. So I have the beginning date, and I want to create a field that shows the end date which is ten years after the opening.I've not been able to figure out how to add the ten years. Hi Community,   Our team is seeing an unusual situation where the Email report in a smart campaign is including emails that were not sent in that campaign. This is happening in several campaigns, from what we can tell.   For example, the emails outlined in Red below were never sent from the campaign but are appearing in the report (unusually it's only showing 1 send for each email). The emails outlined in green were all sent from the campaign.     You can tell the difference because the email name includes the campaign name (01 Abandoned Car Search - Product (Day 1 - 10), whereas the email name for the other campaigns does not include the campaign name.   Has anyone seen this before, and if so, any idea what's happening?   Thank you, LK

Hello Marketo Community, I'm currently working on integrating Cvent with Marketo and have encountered an issue with the Marketo partition assignment feature. https://developers.cvent.com/doc/marketo-integration/#11938 Despite following the integration steps, I'm facing difficulties in getting the partition asisgnment feature to work seamlessly.  We have created a custom field in Event object in Cvent and are unable to map this with the Marketo Lead Partion ID.  Has anyone else experienced a similar challenge with the Cvent and Marketo integration? If so, could you kindly share your insights or best practices for troubleshooting and resolving this specific issue?    Thanks Malay

Sorry for the long post - but I am running into an issue with Marketo sending out emails in the wrong order or skipping some entirely We have 4 streams happening 1. Everyone entering the nurture starts at stream 1 to receive email 12. Everyone transitions to stream 2 - if they did not open email 1, then they receive email same email with different subject in 3 days. Otherwise, receive email 2 in a week. If they don’t open email 2, receive email 2 with different subject in 3 days. Same rules apply for email 33. If all 3 emails have been opened, they go to stream 3 4. If all 3 emails were opened and clicked on, they go to stream 45. Stream 3 and 4 consists of different emails up to 12 emails I don’t have cadences set since the emails go out different amounts of days depending on what happens with the previous email. But triggers are in place to move members to the correct stream. I am just not sure why emails are not sent in the correct order and why some emails are not being sent. I can

Does anyone use Marketo reports for email metrics? I know I can pull basic email performance reports, however, I would love to be able to filter on the email name. I am trying to build out reports for specific email names, for example, "Email starts with: xyz". The goal is to have reports specific for field event emails, white paper promotions, webinars, etc.   

Is there any ways to identify the records which are in salesforce but never been synced or deleted from marketo.

Hi everyone,   I'm trying to conduct a subject line a/b test including a first name token, but was wondering if I should build the subject line with the token in email editor page where I can use the "insert token" button, or will the first name token pull through correctly if I just include it with the other text in the subject line box in the a/b test edit window?   Thanks!

We are extracting leads via a API bulk extraction. However when comparing the number of the extraction with the numbers in the Marketo Database, in the extraction are found more leads.  Now I was checking also the deleted leads (via API call) to test whether the discrepancy could be caused by deletion. But those were only causing less than 1% of the discrepancy.  When looking for the lead Id in Marketo they are claimed as "not found". Could there be any other reason for the lead not to be found besides deletion? I was thinking about some anonymization or something similiar. 

Hi,    We are organizing our engagement stream items as individual nested Email programs. Currently those nested programs sit outside of the engagement program that references them. I dont see an option to move those email programs into the engagement program. Is this a limitation of Marketo or am I missing something ?   BR

I am looking to see if there is a way to update all of our active Marketo forms at once. We currently have an Industry field on all of our forms and I would like to update the dropdown to include more options. Is there a way to mass edit/update all the forms at once, instead of having to individually add to each form?

Utilizing the Marketo API - I have been attempting to upload program members via the bulk method. This seems to fail 30% of the time with not all members uploading to a specific program (randomly only 10/4000 people will upload). This made me think that I should probably add in logic to make sure the task job has a status of "Completed" before proceeding to the next upload. I created a folder for a campaign and built out the assets etc... but every time I log in to Marketo I first see a duplicate of the folder and I'm not able to expand or see the assets in either: When I refresh the page, I then see a single folder and can expand it as normal It doesn't matter how many times I log out and in, close the browser, restart my computer etc... it always appears this way when I first log in to Marketo and it's been doing this ever since I first created the campaign a month ago.    It's a minor annoyance but does anyone know what causes this and how I can fix it?

Hi all,   According to this post phone number field input values should be able to contain characters like "-" or "+". https://nation.marketo.com/t5/knowledgebase/marketo-field-limits-by-field-type/ta-p/299978 However, with one customer I am now seeing invalid field notifications if these characters are used. There are no input masks in place, so it seems a generic change in field type settings. This is happening since a few days. Is anyone else seeing this change?   Thanks!

I'm currently attempting to remove an old segmentation, and am going through all the old emails that utilized that segmentation to unapprove them.  While I was going through the emails, I came across an email that was approved and I was unable to unapprove the email.   The email in question is part of an aborted program.  That aborted program also had an A/B test (not sure if this is relevant). I am unable to unapprove the email because it's currently "in-use" by the aborted program, and I can't remove the A/B test, the email from the program, or delete the program.   How do I go about unapproving/removing assets from aborted programs like this?

Hello- We have added a new field in Salesforce Campaign object by the name of 'Rating'. I want to understand if it is even possible to sync this field to Marketo so that we can use them in Smart campaigns in Marketo as filters? If yes, How can we do that?   I tried looking at the Admin > Data Management > Salesforce Object Sync schema but it did not show me Campaign as a synced object. But, when I look at Admin > Integrations > Salesforce > Edit Sync Options, the 'Enable Salesforce Campaign Sync' check box is checked.   Would really appreciate all the help I can get navigating this as I am pretty new to Marketo.
