We will soon be merging two SFDC instances for Brand 1 and Brand 2. Beside the standard SFDC fields we will have two different set of custom data fields for Brand 1 and Brand 2.There are also going to be different ways of working in Sales for Brand 1 and Brand 2 for now.I'm thinking we need to have a partition in Marketo for Brand 1 and Brand 2 until there is more alignment in SFDC.   My question is: If I have two partitions, can I map all the custom fields from Brand 1 ONLY in partition for Brand 1 and all the custom fields from Brand 2 ONLY for the Brand 2 partition?If I have to have all the fields for both brands set up on all the records, I feel this could get very messy, very quickly. Any top tips on how to handle this and keep things clean?

Hi all, I'm getting these errors for the Smart List's Flow step that is very common to be used in our instance. The program is for Drift Chat. Any suggestions how to fix this? I've tested the Drift Chat Playbook, but nothing is seen on a program level (after checking test email's activity log it shows the test that was made).

I want to create one email for all records in a list, the only thing that needs to change is logo and sending domain. Is there a way to all the branded domain to be dynamic based on the flagged brand the record would need to be associated with? So I would have: John Smith Brand:123 Branded Domain changed to: 123.comJill Smith Brand: ABC Branded Domain changed to: ABC.com Joe Smith Brand: 123 Branded Domain changed to: 123.comSally Smith Brand: XYZ Branded Domain changed to: XYZ.com Or do I have to create separate emails for each branded domain? 

Is there a report (or other method) that lists the URL's associated with all of the Marketo landing pages in your instance?  The Landing Page Performance Report gives you the landing page name, but not the URL(s) of the landing page.  Any ideas?

Today (August 28, 2023) I noticed borders on my buttons stopped rendering in Office365 on MacOS 12 and MacOS 13.  They were working fine everywhere else.  It appears be related to Microsoft's last update to Office365 Outlook for MacOS on August 22, 2023.    It's not a completely generalised issue however.  The use case is pretty specific.   This is a situation where I use a drop down to select colors.  Rather than visible color codes, I use my trick of putting a CSS comment in front of the attribute to give a human readable value to select (i.e as follows). When selected, the actual value is  /* VE Blue */ #17468F   The unrendered CSS looks like this:   border:2px solid ${ctaBorderColor};   which then renders to:   border:2px solid /* VE Blue */ #17468F;     This works on all other platforms, and has just stopped working in Office 365 on MacOS 12 and MacOS 13.  Fortunately, the fix was simple. 

I have a custom object named "application" that is associated with People/Leads. I'm aiming to incorporate the fields from the "application" into an email. This email should be triggered whenever there is a change in the status of any application field. To achieve this, I'm utilizing a velocity email script. To start, I've generated an email script token named "my.application."   My current approach within the email is as follows: Hello {{lead.First Name:default=Friend}}, We wanted to inform you that the status of your application {{{{my.application}}.applicationID}} has been updated to: {{{{my.application}}.status}}. Unfortunately, this approach isn't yielding the expected results. Hey Community!Is there any direct or in-direct way to in a way shut off the form on the LP once it hits for example 20 completions? Ideal scenario would be for example a redirect to another LP without a form anymore. We have it in an Event program but there are no Wait or Pending Approval steps. So I'm wondering how this could be done. Maybe via a trigger campaign counting form fill actions? Any other ideas? It is about putting a LIMIT to the number of form-fills on a landing page. 

We are working on creating an Email Subscription Center to allow our users to select which emails they want to receive instead of the standard unsubscribe option, which currently unsubscribes our users from everything. I have found a lot of documentation on setting up the Email Subscription Center, however, I cannot find documentation on how to set up a workflow to tell Marketo which emails are which. For example, if someone selects that they only want to receive Newsletter emails, how do we tell Marketo which emails are Newsletters? Any suggestions/guidance are appreciated!    Thanks,  Mikaela

Currently we have a few processes that run in parallel:  Lead enrichment webhook that is triggered on Person is Created, which returns demographic and firmographic info, as well as a Predictive Score on the account's propensity to convert Behavior Scoring that is triggered based on activity, built using the Marketo-provided template so each different activity type has its own trigger campaign Various response management workflows (for different forms/offers) that change data values for attribution/reporting and then use "Add Person to SFDC Campaign" to sync them to CRM MQL logic sits on the CRM side and kicks off after a person has been added to a SFDC campaign and is considered a Response.    We recently amended MQL logic so that a lead will only go through the qualification process if both a predictive score and behavior score exist for the lead. Hello there,    I am creating an email template that has a few global variables including one for color ${ButtonColor} of my CTA button. In preview, my CTA looks how it is intended. When I send a test to GMAIL, the CTA does not render properly. Ive attached the code as well as screen shots of intended vs actual views of the CTA. Any help would be appreciated. How is everyone doing utm tracking efficiently in email?  There has to be an easy way to set utm tracking at the program level right? I'm seeing posts from 2017-2019 that this wasn't an option but I'm hoping that's changed?

Excel ignores the hyperlink and keeps only the visible text in the cell, like keeping the text of an <a> tag, not the href.   (Guess this makes some sense as it needs to keep either the text or the link, not both. Hello!I know there's been a million threads about doing an automated yearly birthday email - and I've read through a bunch of them, but I haven't seen a lot of detail on how to integrate the birth date being on a Custom Objects record.I understand the general principal, but am stuck on two points:1) Assuming I'm looking to send the email once a year per relevant record and our current Birth Date field is a Date set to YYYY-MM-DD, I almost need to change that to just display the MM-DD since the year does not matter if we're not specifying age?2) I get that I could use a Velocity script and so forth but the big hiccup I see with the Smart List. If my Date field lives in Custom Objects and I can't (really) use the Lead Table due to the multiple records on a lead thing - how would I go about the Smart List side of things?My initial goal was to run it as a batch campaign that runs daily - If I switched the Birth Date field to "MM-DD" could I use the "Has xx" Custom Object filter and set "Bi

Hi, I'm trying to invite a user from outside my organization and they are not receiving the invite, plus when I try to reset their password, Marketo shows an "SSO Only users are not allowed to reset password" message.   Is there a way to have this user bypass the SSO or what is the way to set them a user?   Thanks!

I'm setting up SF Marketing Intelligence (Datarama) and want to push Marketo data into the platform. I believe we've got it set up correctly - but I'm getting an Illegal Argument error when trying to query the Marketo data.  Like every way I try and access data, I'm getting an Illegal Argument error. I'm going to them as well, but figured I would try this group!   Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello,   Are there any email permissions (or any other restrictions) in Marketo where you try to edit an email but it gives you an error page (shown below) and immediately logs you out of Marketo? I was able to edit emails in the past but since last week getting below error everytime I do any email actions (edit, preview etc.) Would appreciate any insights on this. Thank you!

I was reviewing the Email Template Syntax doc here and in addition to Variables, it mentions Containers and Modules. Is it possible to use reusable drag-n-drop modules in landing page templates, similar to what the email editor allows? I'm referring to these special classes: mktoContainer mktoModule  

I am new on Marketo, I need to convert my dynamic landing page into PDF. So I can email that PDF as attachment. Please let me know the best solution. 

Can we retrieve comprehensive information about updated Marketo fields within our backend? Approach I've taken: I've established a Marketo webhook and integrated the endpoint URL.   Additionally, I've configured a trigger to initiate a webhook request to our endpoint whenever there's a "data value change" in the first name field. The webhook setup is added to the campaign flow. Although this is working, I'm encountering a couple of challenges: I'm aiming to collect data for all updated fields, not solely the first name. Is it necessary to manually set up individual triggers for each field? Presently, my endpoint is triggered multiple times for various field changes. Is there a way to ensure that my endpoint is only contacted once even if there are updates to multiple fields of a lead at once?
