Adobe Marketo Engage

How do you know which flow action from which campaign is being referred to in the "Campaign is Requested" trigger?  The only choices in the dropdown are Marketo Flow Action, Sales Insight, and Web Service API.  The note below the dropdown says "Note: Enter a memorable and well-defined campaign description" which doesn't seem very helpful here!

Hi, there are some old threads about cross domain tracking but wondering if something has changed or people have other ideas for my problem.We have our munchkin code on our website which works fine (domain 1: www.xyzchargingcard.com). We also have customer portal (domain 2: mycards.xyzchargingcards.com). We'd like to do some web personalisation on our website AND in our customer portal.i.e. if I see in Marketo that x person hasn't got Product a, show banner for Product a on the website and in the customer portal. We'd use a web personalisation tool for that that is connected to Marketo/SFDC.Now, I was just thinking we'd add the munchkin code on the customer portal too but presumable they'd just look like anonymous users? Customers do need to log into the portal but that's not a marketo form. Maybe there could be a way to recognize them through that?

Hello, Currently, our team is able to pass the "Form Fields" data via webhook to our external database. Is it possible to pass extra data like the Referrer URL, User Agent, Client IP Address, etc as well via webhook or javascript?         Input is appreciated.  

Is it possible to combine (concatenate) multiple fields into one field in Marketo. I am trying to combine our "data_source,-data_source_name-data_body fields into our "Consent Notes" field without having to concatenate the fields in an excel before uploading. On the attached image, I am trying to combine (concatenate) the three fields in yellow into one field combined in the "Consent Notes" field.  Any suggestions or advice is always greatly appreciated.Best,

I'm having an issue where I've been unable to google a solution.I'm trying to set up a script that references a Salesforce Object whose name includes bracketsIs there a way to escape/ encode the brackets in velocity so that I can reference this object? Or is it something else I've got wrong?  The token currently returns nothing. I have pasted where I am below, I want to extract values stored in the Policy (Policy_Sponsor__c) object. We would like to create a custom field on the company info tab. This custom field would be called category? This category field would be populated by our sales datebase and would just be a text field copy. Is this possible with Marketo Engage?

Hello, We recently updated our domain and are attempting to keep tracking across both domains. Using this older thread: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/Munchkin-Tracking-Multiple-Sites/td-p/132194 and the postMessage API I have been able to set up cross domain cookie tracking, however I am a bit stuck on the next steps. I see "_mkto_trk" and am wondering if this is the correct key to target, and if so, what is the recommended practice for doing this. It looks like if a visitor hasn't opted into any material (filled out form) marketo still assigns a value to this cookie. Would it make sense to see if "old domain cookie value exists" and then extract that value and replace "new domain cookie value" with the old one? Will this allow for leads to be tracked across domains? Thanks in advance

Hi, So there is an upcoming tradeshow and we are giving out free passes to people who submit the form. There are a limited number of passes, and the pass codes have been provided to us. I am searching for a way to automatically send out these confirmation emails with the unique codes embedded in the emails. I also need to know when we have exhausted the codes that we have. I tried looking on the Nation, but didn't see a solution. Thanks, Stephen

Hey all, Ive seen some older posts about this but wanted to see if there was anything more up to date.  I was wondering if there is a way to pull a list of all used fields in a Marketo instance. My understanding is that this process is very manual and I would have to click into each field in Field Management to see this. Is there a more efficient way to do this? Thanks!

Hello Champions, This is my use case: I have a lead record with HTML code, let's say "%p$Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet%/p$", if I swap the "%" for a "<" and the "$" for a ">", would be the HTML code we all know. So, I'm trying to make that replacement with velocity but couldn't find a solution, I've tried several things, but nothing seems to work for me.  I'm new to the velocity scripting world and been looking around to avoid making this thread but well, here I'm. I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks!

Hello, Can certain Dynamic Chat dialogues only appear during 8 am-5 pm business hours? Also, is it possible to offer a live chat within the dialogue flow if only within business hours? I would like to offer a different dialogue path if that chat occurs outside of business hours. Any input is appreciated!

Hey everyone!   We're starting to leverage Power BI for our email analytics reporting. As of right now we're taking that data in monthly data exports and consolidating into 1 large CSV, which we use for Power BI.  There has to be a better way to get the data Marketo/Revenue Explorer over to Power BI.    How are you all getting your data out of Marketo and where are you storing it to connect with your Power BI or any other BI tool?   Open to any and all suggestions!

Hi Everyone, I am a bit confused between different domains in marketo. For eg.  I have a client : example.com , We decided on two cname mail.example.com for email and lp.example.com for landing page. Now I am confused what would go under From Email: ( do i need to create subdomain for it) . Also under branding domain would it be mail.example.com or subdomain that we would create) . I am super confused with all the domains.

Hey Team,To accommodate the broad audience that we sell/communicate to, I've had to build a form that starts with the initial set of fields:- name- email- prospect typeBased on their type, the form then "branches" out to 7 different paths to collect the information that is unique to each type.The remaining fields were built in the following hierarchy. I "mapped" 14 progressive fields to the 7 different prospect types using visibility rules. Tier 1 - Required FieldTier 2 - Progressive ProfilingTier 2a - Visibility Rules Enabled for Prospect Types     - Type 1 = Fields 1-7     - Type 2 = Fields 8-11     - Type 3 = Fields 8-11     - Type 4 = Fields 8-12     - Type 5 = Fields 8-11, 13, 14     - Type 6 = Fields 8, 9     - Type 7 = NoneI set the number of blank progressive fields to 2, thinking that the progressive function would would "skip" over the fields not applicable to the respective prospect types. Hi All,    I have a use case which uses Google Ads and Marketo native integration (the integration is not working for some reason), and I am looking for some help. See more details below.   The goal is to send offline conversion data from Marketo to Google Ads. We have integrated Marketo with Google Ads through the LaunchPoint. Currently, we have four conversions built out inside of Google Ads, and each conversion has its associated stage values (see below). The conversion data is supposed to be sent to Google Ads if someone's stage field value changes to any of the associated values with each conversion. We built the RCM model, mapped all the conversions with Google Ads (e.g., Prospecting - Native Marketo Test 1, Qualification -> native Marketo Test 2), and did some tests. But nothing was showing up inside of Google Ads. I'm not exactly sure which step went wrong. I tested by changing the stage field value to any of the associated values of these conversions and made

Hi everyone, I have a custom object for our webinar platform (webinar.net). I'm syncing data to custom fields within Marketo, but they also insist on using a custom object as well. I figured using the custom object might be slightly better to some extent, so I wanted to test out the results and I'm seeing something that doesn't look quite right in Marketo. For background - Registrations to the event happen through a Marketo form, and are then sent via Webhook to the platform. Registrations can also happen on the webinar platform, but in that case, people don't tend to be synced back to Marketo if they don't already exist. After the webinar is concluded, a sync is pushed back into Marketo with the attendance data. We're planning on setting up a custom integration for Adobe Assets & Marketo. (The OOTB option unfortunately doesn't meet our Compliance needs.) We're trying to think of a way to identify any assets (images or PDF) once they are expired and/or unpublished so that they are not used in future emails.
