Hi, Referring to Marketo Community post https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/update-dynamic-image-content-by-api/m-p/323850/highlight/false#M182965 , on extracting and updating email image alt text, I am also trying to update the email image alt text using Dynamic Content API of Marketo, however, ran into an issue of the email image alt text updation breaking the email image itself. Sharing the steps I followed below. I am trying to run an API call to retrieve and update the Dynamic content of the Email Image alt text.I am running 2 API calls(1) GET : GET /rest/asset/v1/email/{id}/dynamicContent/{contentId}.json to get the content id and the type of the email module (https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/endpoint-reference/asset-endpoint-reference/#!/Emails/getEma...). Hi, I have a few questions regarding modification dynamic image content in emails by Rest API. Generally I need update alternative text, but to update just this property, it is neccessary provide request with all content arguments (image url, alt text, with, style...). See issues bellow.   1. Sometimes it is not possible to update image due to Invalid URL error. If a web visitor rejects all cookies, the embedded Marketo forms do not load on my company's website. We use a third party cookie consent vendor. Is there a way to distinguish between the munchkin code that is used to track web activity and the code used to display embedded forms? Ideally, we would be able to classify the form code as strictly necessary so the form would function while still respecting if a visitor chose to turn off tracking cookies. I'm not super technical but need to provide direction on how we can isolate the two. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All, We are exploring purchasing MSI (Non Native Sync). We are relying on documentation to understand the features and if it fits our requirement.One of the question I have is syncing the ExternalId fields from Salesforce to Marketo. As per the documentation Sync the Salesforce Accounts to Marketo. - It says "A Marketo Company will need to be upserted for the Salesforce Account. The externalCompanyId and externalSalesPersonId fields are mandated for the upsert of the Company." , for ExternalCompanyId it says "Salesforce Account case-insensitive globally unique identifier". Does it mean, I can use any External ID on the Salesforce side or does it have to be the ID field on Account? Our Account unique identifier comes from our CDP and I would like to use that, instead of Out of the box Salesforce Id. Can anyone confirm if that is possible? Thanks,Arvind    

Hi Everyone, Is this possible to change the data value of the program custom fields by using an Executable campaign? I have an operational program which has Executable camapign and I want to call this campaign in other programs.   I have tried {{Program.Name}} token but it's only referring to the operational program.   Any workaround for this?   Thanks, /Ankit

Hello,I know this has been a topic but for retention purposes - we have a spreadsheet with email retention where we store live copies of the "view as web page link" in order for others in the organization to see what we are sending.I know the Sample Drafts are not good to use since they stop working over time, but I've found that even sending a live email version seems to stop working.Is there a way to keep the "view as Web Page" link without the token so anyone can click the link and it works? I know some of the workarounds are sending a copy to a mailbox and storing there, but that's a bit clunky.

Hi,I have created a large email send. One of the filters is "Email Address does not contain..." When I check the send list all the email addresses with exclusion are still there. I have a smaller email campaign with the same smart list exclusions and that one is working. Is it because the send is too large? Too many exclusions?Thanks,Nancy

Hello, We have periodically noticed long delivery delays when sending emails from batch smart campaigns. Yesterday, for example, we had pre-scheduled an email to send to 1.7 million people at 7am MST and we noticed it took until around 7:30pm MST (12 hours later) for them to fully deliver.  Taking into consideration a couple of factors - large email base, Cyber Week - our leadership wants us to find a solution to avoid such long delays - especially because our sales team is largely dependent upon generating revenue from email but is only available for a certain amount of time during the day. With this said, I am open to any suggestions the Community can provide (please share!) but also have a specific question. All the campaigns we use to send emails are batch campaigns scheduled the day before. Hello!Got the popup upon login about "Websocket protocols for Adobe Marketo Engage are updating on December 31, 2023. Please work with your IT team to allowlist required Marketo Engage and Adobe domains and ports to prevent access disruptions."I see that the linked "Configure Protocol" page was last updated on Nov 15th, 2023, but I was curious if there was a more detailed list of what's changing / needs updating before or after the 31st? Is there any sort of change log on that page to see what changed? Or should I just shoot that over to my IT Team to make sure it's all good with what is on the latest page?

After publishing, my program LPs and emails are now in orange icon.I have to now go program by program to republish for the updates to take effect.Is there a way to globally check off from a list all the assets to republish in one go?To go program by program is quite tedious. Please advise. Hi everyone, newer Marketo user here. We're trying to set up our campaigns so that anytime someone clicks on an email containing "/products/" in the URL is sent a follow-up email an hour later. The follow-up email needs to include a token to the original URL the person clicked on. Can you please help? Hi,I have a form where we have a field "Job Profile" which is mapped to "Job Profile" field in Marketo database, the form has "select" type for this field with 5 options. The last option is "Other", whoever chooses "Other" will get another Text Field to Write their answer. How will I get this text box value in same "Job Profile" field in Marketo Database.?Any help would be appreciated.

We want to verify the phone number field and prevent the fake phone number from submitting the form. I saw Marketo has a function "Mask Input",  there is only one Mask we can set. However,  our prospects from all around the word, there are different phone number formats. How can we achieve this?   And if we can achieve this, in only 1 field, for example:  

If we had a pricing page with two different buttons, one for large and one for small companies, but they all went to the same page with the same form, how could we track what button a user clicked before submitting the form?  Should we be adding on a utm via the button they click? Is there a better way to do this while still keeping the follow up page and form the same for both buttons?

Hello,I am looking at an email performance report that is collating all emails within an engagement program. If I create a report specifying just the email/program in the setup, it brings back a sent volume of 6,735.However when I group the report by one of our segmentations (market), the sent volume changes to 6,088. This segmentation is fully approved and has 0 leads in the default segment. If I remove the grouping from the report and try to choose Market Segment is default in the smart list instead, it brings back no results. Similarly, if in the smart list I choose Market Segment is not any of the defined segments, it brings back no results.Does anyone know why I'm seeing these discrepancies? Not sure if I am missing something obvious!Thanks.
