Hello, I want to know how to change the first line of the body email text that appears when people get sent the email. I duplicated this from a previous webinar but don't know which token this comes from? The line I want to change is "Real estate professionals share..." It doesn't appear anywhere in the email that I've created, but only when it gets to people's inboxes. Thanks for the help!

Adobe is removing the Marketo Events App and Marketo Moments App from the App Stores on October 2, 2023. After this date, existing customers can continue using these apps if they’re already installed on their mobile device. Hello Community!   I have a situation where leads fill an external form (not a Marketo form), and an API integration creates the leads in our Salesforce, which then is integrated to Marketo. There's a hidden field in this form with the Acquisition Program Name we want for these leads, and a campaign in Marketo with the same name.   This Marketo campaign contains a smart campaign triggered by "Lead is created / acq program is XXXX". But, testing it, we noticed that the leads don't come through. Actually, the leads arrive without an acquisition program.   Is this because the leads are created first in Salesforce? Is there something we can do to make these leads already arrive with the correct acq program?

Hi,I am working with our data warehouse IT team to model Marketo data. They are trying to create a table for Company but are noticing that the same ContactCompany id field has more than one Company Name. Some are clearly duplicate companies where INC or LTD is missing. However, some are very different company names. I don't believe ContactCompany is a field in the Marketo UI. Does anyone know where this value is coming from and why there would be a different Company Name associated to the same ContactCompany field?  They are asking me to define which Company Name should be the primary but I'm thinking they need to stay separate records.

Hello,    I wondered whether anyone had used dynamic chat to run a very short user experience style survey? Thinking something like two questions, like -  1) How easy do you find using the website? With a rating of one to five.  Followed by: 2) What were you trying to do today? (list with open options)   Has anyone used Dynamic Chat or something else within Marketo to do this?

We haven't yet used our Interactive webinar functionality and I'm just trying to work out the best way of doing this.  We will be having a webinar that will have two time zone options.  Is my only option to create this as two separate webinars, or is there a way of having two time options in one programme? Normally we would have a landing page with both options and then emails would go out depending on smart lists based on which option they chose.

I had a customer recently who had to fully resynch their data from Salesforce because of an unfortunate unrecoverable data mishap, and I thought it might be helpful to explain the process and mention some "gotchas" when considering this.   Marketo maintains a data value change log in the activity history of every person, so if the problem is due to a list import, it might be possible to simply re-import a new list, re-overwriting that data and correct it.   Another more advanced remediation possibility would be to identify the people affected, and pull the data value changes activities from Marketo. Hi there,I have a lookup field in the SFDC Lead object that does a lookup on the Campaign object. When I select a campaign in the field in SFDC, the respective Campaign ID is syncing over to the corresponding Marketo field correctly. But if/when I change the campaign ID value in the Marketo field, it does not seem to sync to the SFDC field. Ideally when I change the campaign ID in the Marketo field, the lookup value (i.e. the name of the campaign) would update in the SFDC field. Is the sync on SFDC lookup fields not bi-directional?  Thx in advanceColin EDIT: Problem solved - there was a related flow in SFDC that was causing the Marketo > SFDC sync to fail in some circumstances..

Hi All,   While removing some outdated email programs, I encountered an unexpected problem. Although I managed to delete certain programs by removing their dependencies, I received a 'Background Delete Failed' message for several others. I've attached a screenshot for reference. Do you think this could be related to Marketo, or might there be something I've overlooked? Any insights?   TIA  

You don’t want it with Email Suspended. It doesn’t mess around: if a recipient’s mailserver gave a super harsh “We don’t like you” bounce message, Marketo will block all email to that lead for 24 hours.   What’s not formally documented is that Email Suspended, and the related Email Suspended At and Email Suspended Cause, are also set for all other leads that exist at the time of the bounce with the same Email Address.   This makes sense, of course. We’re trying to give a decidedly unmellow mailserver time to calm down and accept our email again. So hitting it with another send that qualifies the duplicate lead will just make it madder!   You’ll first see Email Suspended Cause set for the specific lead who bounced:   Then a moment later you’ll see the duplicate(s) updated:   Lead #1132890 is being updated in the second screenshot, but notice how the Reason refers to the bounced lead, #1132889.   That auto

You may not have noticed this in your travels, but the _mktoReferrer hidden field is cached when forms2.min.js is loaded — before forms themselves are loaded — and all forms use that cached value.   The _mktoReferrer becomes the important Referrer constraint in Smart Lists. That’s how we know the page someone was on when they submitted an embedded form.   For a multi-page site — I’d guess 85%+ of corporate brochure sites are multi-page, not sure though! — caching is fine, because a new main document loads when you navigate. Thus forms2.min.js reloads and reads the new document.location.href.   But single-page applications (SPAs), by definition, change content and update the Location bar without loading a new document. In this case, forms2.min.js will not load again.   With an SPA, the displayed and business-logical URL can change from https://www.example.com/first-product to https://www.exam

Hi allDoes anyone use Twilio for sending SMS messages from Marketo? I have an issue that's stumping me.We want to send SMS messages that have emojis in them eg 🌼 https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+1F33CWe send these messages from Marketo -> Twilio via a webhook. In this webhook are Marketo tokens which is where we configure the content of the message.This webhook passes the payload to Twilio in plain text, which strips out the emojis. If I try to add them in unicode or HTML formats ( U+1F33C or 🌼), Twilio still treats them as plain text and fails to send them as emojis. So eg an SMS saying "Here is a flower 🌼" turns into "Here is a flower U+1F33C". I can't tell if this is an issue with how Marketo sends the information or how Twilio is receiving it. I've lodged tickets with both platforms but hoping someone has come across this before?
