Deleting projects from the Adobe Developer Console

I fully understand why Adobe would not want to make it easy to delete Projects given there are downstream integrations that could be affected, but the inability to delete and manage anything in the interface is entirely frustrating. As far as we can tell, even accidentally clicking "Create New Project" gives you a permanent project even if you have done nothing within it in terms of hooking to any other tools. Long term management is very frustrating, sunsetted integrations you can never manage, etc. How is everyone handling this?

Thanks for any assistance.

What rights are required to delete projects?

Hey @thorsten_999 - no special permissions are required.

1. If you are a system admin you can edit and delete all projects

2. If you are a developer, you can edit and delete the projects that are not marked as read-only projects. (Some projects are marked read-only if you do not have access to all the product profiles used in that project)

Please note: Some projects cannot be deleted. These include -

1. Projects that have been published.

2. Projects that either have Runtime, or App Builder, or Plugins in them.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Manik

Hey. Yes we are aware that and the Delete Project feature will be released in the coming weeks.

Looking very much forward to that feature. We accidently created 2 empty projects for one customer, that we would like to remove again and we have several other customers with obsolete Projects that we want to cleanup and remove.
