Advanced Reporting Dashboard Returns 401/404 - All Magento-Side Issues Resolved

  • Visiting https://advancedreporting.rjmetrics.com/report?otp=... returns 401
  • Dashboard shows "We can't find what you're looking for"
  • All Magento-side configuration is correct and working. The signup handshake completes successfully (HTTP 201). OTP tokens are issued. Data file is fresh and publicly accessible. The 401 on the dashboard URL indicates Adobe's backend has not fully provisioned the reporting dashboard for this store despite successful signup registration.

Hi @Ghonaim

if the signup call returns 201, OTPs are generated, and the data file is reachable, there is nothing more you can fix on the Magento side. A 401/404 on https://advancedreporting.rjmetrics.com/report?otp=... at that point is almost always a backend provisioning or eligibility issue on the Adobe side.

What you should double‑check:

  1. Your store meets all Advanced Reporting requirements:
    • Public HTTPS base URL, valid SSL.
    • Only one base currency in config and in historical orders.
    • Advanced Reporting is enabled in Stores > Configuration > General > Advanced Reporting.
    • analytics_collect_data cron is present and running successfully for at least 24 hours.
    • Ref: "Advanced Reporting troubleshooter for Adobe Commerce"
  2. You are not using AWS S3 as the medium for the source data file for Advanced Reporting. Due to current compatibility issues, Advanced Reporting is not supported when the data file is delivered via S3; in that case the dashboard will not provision correctly and you'll see 404/401 on the RJMetrics URL.
    • Ref: "Commerce Intelligence tools" – note about S3 and Advanced Reporting

If all of the above checks out and you still get 401/404 on the OTP URL after 24–48 hours, it's not a Magento configuration problem anymore. At that point only Adobe can fix it.

Next step

  • Open an Adobe Commerce support ticket and include:
    • Store base URL and Commerce version (Cloud/on‑prem, exact version).
    • Timestamp and response of the signup/handshake (the 201).
    • The URL of a failing advancedreporting.rjmetrics.com/report?otp=.…
    • Confirmation that:
      • you use a single base currency for config and all orders, and
      • you are not using S3 as the Advanced Reporting data source.
  • Ask Support specifically to verify and (re)provision your Advanced Reporting subscription on their side. That is the only way to resolve the 401/404 at the dashboard endpoint once the Magento‑side checks are clean.
