My Auto-Upload during Sync option is disabled. Can you tell me the steps through which I can generate a click tracking URL? I am using text ads, keywords and placement for advertising in Bing, google and yahoo search engines.

Hi Dhanya, 

If the Auto-Upload during Sync option is disabled, you can generate tracking for a component in any of the following ways:

 - When you post ads from feed files, select the Generate Tracking URLs option. You can optionally validate the tracking URLs in any bulksheet file before you post it to the search engine.

 - When you download, upload, or post a bulksheet file containing the component, select the Generate Tracking URLs option. You can optionally validate the tracking URLs in any bulksheet file before you post it to the search engine.

 - (Accounts with destination URLs) In the individual component settings, click Generate Destination URL.

The URL is generated from the base URL and any additional tracking parameters specified in the account or campaign settings.

Note:  Tracking URLs for keywords and Google placements override those for the associated ad.

Hi dvenkate!

Can you give me a bit more information the purpose for generating you click tracking URL? If you are adding new KWs or trying to ensure that tracking is applied to objects, the easiest way is through a bulksheet. 

Google of course now uses a tracking template, and you will want to ensure that the tracking template is set up, which will apply the AMO tracking to all objects beneath it.

Also, is there a reason for your auto-upload sync button being turned off.
