How to calculate Bounces and Single Page

Hi, I am still stumped a bit on the calculation of Bounces and Single Page Visits - I read a lot of the posts on this site and other articles, but I am still not able to marry the numbers from the front end of Adobe Analytics with the calculations in the backend using the data on the backend.

Does anybody have a verified method for calculation of these two metrics?

Thanks in advance.

Few questions: Are you using the out of the box from Adobe bounces here? How are you calculating this on the backend?
Adobe will not count a visit as a bounce if they clicked on any link while on the page.

So even if they only saw the one page, if the engaged at all then it isn't a bounce. I have heard more than once that bounce rate is becoming a les valuable matric because companies are trying to feed everything a user may want/need on the one page and there is a good chance that the user doesn't need to go to another page. In general I would suggest measuring engagement on the page rather than bounces.
