Hi,

How do we implement livechat with the help of Adobe DTM?

Implementing livechat seems to be an issue. Can anyone help us out.

Thanks,

Hi Nikunj,

Can you elaborate on livechat? If this is a JavaScript / 3rd party tag, then you can just implement it in a rule via the '3rd Party / JavaScript' section. The rule condition can be configured to indicate when you want this rule / tag to fire. Here's some related documentation:

Rule creation:

Adding trigger / tags:

I hope this helps! Just let me know if I've misunderstood in any way.

Hi Anna,

Livechat is somewhat similar to omniture.

Like omniture requires s_code (provided by the third party), Livechat also requires lemtagconfig. So with the help of third party tags, we are not able to implement it.

Can you guide?

Thanks,

Hi Nikunj,

You should be able to implement this tool via the '3rd party scripts / JavaScript' section of a rule(s) like I mentioned before. However, one potential 'gotcha' is that the code will need to be run as a sequential script in order to ensure it has access to the page content. Is this the way you've implemented it?

Thanks,

Hi Anna,

Had implemented in the similar fashion as you described, but it is not working.

Had one more doubt, as we save s_code in the editor, where do we save the lemtagconfig file for livechat?

Can you implement an example and elaborate about it.

Thanks,

Nikunj
