Hello everyone,

My name is Vivek and I am currently working in Singapore.

I have been working with Adobe Marketing Cloud for over 10 years, most of which has been on Adobe Experience Manager. I have worked on projects implementing Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager and Adobe Campaign.

Most of the work that I have done on Adobe Target has been for web based applications. Eager to learn more about the product, meet all the champions and get certified.

Cheers!!

QUIZ - Week 02:Business Practitioner has activated an Auto-Target activity with Analytics as a reporting source (using A4T). However, the practitioner wants to change the reporting source from Analytics to Target. Which of the following statement is true according to the practitioner's requirement.

A. A4T didn't support Auto-Target activities.

B. Pause the activity, navigate to the goals section, and change the reporting source from Analytics to Target.

C. The reporting source cannot be changed from Analytics to Target or vice versa after an activity has been activated.

D. Change in reporting source as an Analytics is not required since Analytics as a reporting source supports all the metrics as Target does.

Level 7

Should be A and C, if multiple answers correct.

Auto Target is not A4T compatible. Moreover once configured you cannot change the reporting resource.

Otherwise just C

Avatar

Level 4

Hi @viveksachdeva ,

A4T support for Auto-Target activities is now supported for both Platform Web SDK and at.js

Its not supported only with Automated Personalization (AP) activities.

This is true statement:

C. The reporting source cannot be changed from Analytics to Target or vice versa after an activity has been activated.

(Reporting Source cannot be changed after activity goes live to keep report consistent)

In this scenario, source change is not required from analytics to target as all Analytics metrics, including calculated metrics, are available in Target with one exception. The calculated metrics for Lift & Confidence are not supported.
