Password Validation Problem

I have used the password object from the object library and then used the Action builder to set the password.

The problem I have is that the password function works fine but always brings up a box saying" password validation failed" even if the password worked. I have changed the validation options but cant get the "password validation failed" box, not to come up. Any ideas?

I am not sure what you are trying to do .....can you elaborate? The passsword field and the action builder are two different things and I am trying to understand how you want these two things to work together?

It looks like this may of been a program error of some sort. After I restarted the program none of the validation windows came up again.

What I was doing was, use the password box to make a form editable after it was locked. I used the action builder to check the right password was entered and then unlock the document
