Multiple regions on Weblogic managed server - can it be done with LC?

Ok.....we are currently using Adobe LC and have it deployed on a Weblogic managed server.  My question is how do we add multiple LC regions?  (ie: a DEV, an Acceptance, etc.......)

- do we simply create more managed servers each having their own distinct name, distinct jndi name and thus pointing to appropriate datasources ALL under the same WL domain?

- do we create multiple WL Domains.....each with 1 managed server, each with  IDP_DS as the jndi name?

Or.....do we have to go the clustering or SLB topology route?

Update from Adobe support.

They state that Multiple Domains........with the same JNDI name (IDP_DS) is the way to go.

- just make sure your users are different (database schemas) between instances
