Custom Flex components in LC Designer

Is anyone aware of a way to add custom .SWC Flex components to the component library and use to design forms within LC Designer?

I am aware that workbench allows this but was hoping for a workaround for designer to avoid installation of LC ES environment which is way more that I need for this project. Any insight is much appreciated. Thanks.

LC Designer does not use Flex components. There areno swc file s in Designer. You can combine existing objects to create a new object (i.e. add fields together to make an address block object), but you cannot create new base objects.
