AddInstance overflow to page 2 deletes inputs in top subform

Avatar

Really need help.  Got my form where I want it to be Except when adding rows overflows onto page 2 the information entered in a different top subform deletes the information that has been input.  I have removed the recalculate from the add and delete instances.  It still deletes.  Here are how I have the add and delete instances set up:

_Row1.addInstance(

true);

_Row1.removeInstance(this.parent.index);

The two items that change that I want to keep their input are:

form1.#pageSet[0].Page1.ToolTop.Your_Name1::calculate - (JavaScript, client)

this.rawValue

= name.rawValue = "'s";

And an embeded image.

I put these items in a subform on the master page - the only way I was able to get the top part of the form to repeat when the add rows caused a new page to spawn.

Any ideas - thanks in advance.

p.s.  I am trying to let the user input text information with a 's behind their name and also link

up their own photograph.  Thanks.

Not sure I follow ....are the image and the Name part of the repeating subform or out side of that structure?

Paul,

Thanks for asking for input.

The text field and the image field are outside the subform that adds and

deletes rows.

To get the top of my form to look correct after rows and pages were added, I

put the non-table text and image on the Master page and then shortened the

height of the "Untitled Content Area - pink icon on page one of the Master

page.

By deleting the calculate " 's" of the Your_Name1 text field, it no longer

deletes when the overflow creates page 2. But I cannot figure out how to

get the selected image to stay in place.

Thanks for your input.

I can send the file to you - but do not want it public. Thanks.

Yes send me the form .....I need to see what is happening. Send it to LiveCycle8@gmail.com and include a description of the issue.

Paul - here it is. When I enter a name by the 's and link up a new photo -

it stays as long as you are on page 1. Once page 2 presents itself it goes

away.

Is there a way to make the name and image to stay in place? (The name is

global - the image is not.)

Thanks,

You have to email the form to the address stated earlier .....you cannot attach it to a forum post.
