Text assigned programmatically to a field is wrapping or breaking within a word

Hi,



just wondering if there is a way of preventing text from breaking withn a multiline field.



I am assigning some text to a field, but I am getting an unwanted word break when text gets near the right edge of the field.



For example,

"... has been charged with the following offence(s):" is breaking right before the "(s)"



resulting in:

"... has been charged with the following offence

(s):"



but I would like to keep the "offence(s):" as a single word and not break within it.



Just wondering if there is a way of keeping characters within a string from wrapping.
