PDF View menu option not available

I am in a predicament. I'm supposed to be demonstrating how to create a fillable form using LifeCycle Designer and the PDF View menu item is grayed out. I was following the tutorial, which indicates to preview your form, click the PDF View tab of the Layout Editor --- NOT THERE! I went to Help, which pointed me to Layout > PDF View --- GRAYED OUT! Somebody please help!

Do you mean the PDF Preview tab?



If so, try uninstalling/reinstalling Acrobat/Reader.

Ijust poisted exact same question. have you found a permanent fix to the grayed out PDF viewer tab?

This problem is fixed by also Repairing current install of the reader.
