IOS App QAing with Charles Proxy

Avatar

Level 8

Hello everyone ,

I'm currentrly trying to understand some problems in the data from our IOS apps.

I installed Charles proxy, and made all the same network config. I can see some requests send to our web page in the Charles, but cannot find any htpps requests with the Adobe Analytics Data. I filtered with "b/ss", which is the Network filter I ussually use in the Chrome dev tools.

I must be missing something,

Some feedback on QAing the IOS apps tracking would be great !

Cheers to the Adobe Community !

Hello !

Just to close the question in case of :

1/ Mingle with the SSL proxy settings :

Proxy -> SSL Proxy settings then Add :

          smetrics.*.com

          assets.adobedtm.com

          et al. (web properties)

2/ Download Charles proxy Certification - from charles proxy website - and rename it with a .crt

I'm not sure if there is another step, but this worked for me, I found this steps on the internet !

Cheers !
