How does Exit tracking works in Mobile app (using SDK in native apps)

Hi

I was trying to search forums and documentation to know more about exit tracking on mobile apps.

I am using Analytics SDK on React native apps and its reporting the metrics but I am not able to verify whats counted towards exits. Do we have documentation around this and ways to tune this according to our needs (the way we do it in DTM/Launch by configuring internal links etc)?

Interested to know this too. Is an exit triggered when an app is left in the background and has been inactive for some time? If so, what amount of time? Documentation is pretty light on this topic.
