We are learning AEM with quickstart on Windows now. We are investigating tomcat with SQL Server (relational) back-end.
We found issues recently with power outages causing the translator to fail (new french translations didn't make it to the french UI).
I entered a ticket, and was told that we should prepare a backup and recovery strategy, because power outages will cause issues with storage.I was kind of hoping JCR would handle power outages better than that, and all transactions would be atomic, and rollback in such situations, but I guess not.
My question is how does tomcat/SQLServer change this?
