Page lock/unlock error

Hi,

There is a user configured in AEM that has the author rights. Below steps were performed:

1. Create a page as Author and lock it
2. Close the page
3. Open the page and unlock the page by clicking the button that says "Unlock" on the sidekick

4. Note the message that says "Unlock Successful".
5. Click the button which now says "Lock" on the sidekick
6. Note the message "Unable to unlock page.(Unable to unlock page.)" which appears even though the button says "Lock".

Am i missing something here ? Why is there unsuccessful message displayed ?

In the logs below is the exception: 

29.12.2015 11:32:53.986 *ERROR* [0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1 [1451368973979] POST /bin/wcmcommand HTTP/1.1] com.day.cq.wcm.core.impl.commands.UnlockCommand Unable to unlock page.
com.day.cq.wcm.api.WCMException: Unable to unlock page.

Caused by: javax.jcr.lock.LockException: Node /content/geometrixx-outdoors/en/men/jcr:content is not locked

I just tried the same steps you mentioned and encountered the same.

but when I closed the page and then tried 'Lock', it works !!

After this, I tried Lock, Unlock multiple times without closing the page it works without any problem.

So there seems to be a problem, when you 'Unlock' after closing the page and try locking it again. For now, you can try closing it again and meanwhile log a bug in the day care [1]
