Create CSV Report from Site-Search Result

Hi Team,

We are facing one issue in Create CSV Report from site-search-result. Currently we are able to get only 10 rows in the Create CSV report from the 30 rows site-search result.

Required help in how to get all the result in Create CSV report.

AEM version: We are using AEM 6.1 version.

OS: Windows 8

I tested on AEM 6.3 and on AEM 6.1, there is no such limit.

i can export 16 pages. Can you help me reproduce this?

Steps:

1) click on search icon in the header

2) Searching for a string 12 in full-text predicate and got 30 rows as result.

3)CSV report contains only starting 10 rows of the result, still 20 are missing.

FYI,

We have a control on number of result to be display by setting the following property.  Same way we are suspecting anywhere we have to configure the export-result CSV.

Is it a bug in the tool..?

cant we get the whole search-result as a CSV..?

Why only 10 rows by default its exporting..?

I am not seeing this - i get full set

If you are not getting all results - try on a fresh instance. This confirms it should work. However - for the instance that is not working - i would say its a bug. You should open a ticket.

Also - if you remove that limit prop - are you getting full result set?

AEM 6.1 -> when you create CSV without searching it creates CSV with full list where as then we export after doing searching then it creates only 10.

AEM6.3 -> the behavior is correct.

This is a Bug, please reach out to support for the fix.

Can you please specify some details about AEM version you tried.

Below are the Observations in new Instance.

I have tried with the new instance, i am able to get only 10 records as a export result from 30 display result.

Details:

AEM : 6.1

OS: Windows 8

Can you confirm this behavior, so that i can go and raise the ticket and show to our customer.

Thanks for the Confirmation, i will raise the ticket regarding this. Is there anything need to follow up after raised. If its resolvable means they will provide any patch for this defect.
