Context-hub optimization strategies

Avatar

Community Advisor

Hi Guys,

Context Hub kernel can have a big impact in terms of network traffic and I would like to get your thoughts on how well ContextHub can be optimized so that the page load time can be taken care of.

A couple of things could be - minification, caching the kernel.js, minimizing store loads etc.

Any thoughts from your experience on using context-hub on live websites? What would be the challenges faced while implementing this? and why and for which use cases is context-hub recommended?

Thanks.

Hi,

The first easy answer would be to use Target if possible, other than that this was an aware issue tracked here: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/after-installation-of-aem-... . I think all that you have described is the best you can do for now, minify, cache, simplify the store, and load js only on pages needed.
