We are very pleased to announce yet another important release of Control Panel: Control Panel support for Campaign customers with ‘Hybrid’ hosting model. These customers can now avail Control Panel features to save time and increase their productivity.

What is different with Control Panel - Hybrid vs Hosted:

  • Access prerequisite for Hybrid - A mapping between customer hosted MKT instance and customer IMS Org needs to be established.
    • Customers to reach out to Customer Care in case this mapping is missing for their MKT instance.
  • Unlock Control Panel features - Control Panel is accessible to Admin users only.
    • Customer Admins to provide MID, RT URLs that their MKT instance is connecting to.
  • Feature parity – With the nature of the Hybrid deployment model (Customer hosted MKT instance), not all features of Control Panel are made available, but a limited feature set as appropriate.

Control Panel – Hybrid Feature List:

The following features are available to Hybrid customers as part of this release:

  1. Security Zone IP allow listing for RT instances.
  2. Listing delegated Domains.
  3. Listing of SSL cert on Domains.
  4. Service Calendar as a Beta.

With this release, we expect to see:

  • Good reduction of Customer Care and Squad1A tickets.
  • Increase overall Control Panel adoption with improved user experience.

What's next on Hybrid?

We are not done yet, additional phases to follow covering important features like

  1. SSL Certificate Management.
  2. Subdomain delegation and CNAME setup.

… And many more exciting features planned in subsequent releases.
