AAM Feature Release Announcement: Data Explorer

                Adobe is excited to announce Data Explorer, a new suite of capabilities across reporting, trait creation, and trait backfill that will live in the Signals workflow of Audience Manager. Data Explorer simplifies trait management and provides flexibility in organizing your data taxonomy to drive more efficient segment creation and activation.       

Data Explorer offers several key benefits:

  • Discover insights at the signal level to build traits from both used and unused signals
  • Save time in the trait creation workflow by converting unused signals to actionable traits in just a few clicks
  • Focus on high-value audiences and gain workflow efficiencies by eliminating the need to create all traits ahead of time

All customers can use Data Explorer to discover new and trending signals based on a 30-day lookback window and create traits directly from this dashboard. Premium capabilities of Data Explorer offer more flexibility in taxonomy management and data recovery by including the ability to backfill historical data associated with the selected trait. Backfilled trait data is available to use immediately for segmentation and activation.

How it works:  

                Data Explorer capabilities will live on the Signals page of the Audience Manager UI. Customers can search for signals and view a dashboard that contains new and trending signals based on a specified time period for both onboarded and rule-based traits. When a new trait is created, the selected signals are automatically carried over onto the Trait Builder page with the option to apply a backfill period.

Customer impact:          

                Data Explorer is now available for all Adobe Audience Manager customers as on November 13, 2018 and includes a 30-day lookback on raw signals. For premium backfill capabilities, contact your Adobe consultant or sales representative.
