Copy datawarehouse report to different report suite

Avatar

I have a datawarehouse report with ~150 columns, and need to use it for other report suites (10). I can duplicate the request, but as soon as I change the report suite within the tool, it resets the report to have no fields. Is there a way that I can duplicate the report and use if for different report suites?

Hi Darryn, I'm holding some discussions internally with product management and engineering to see if we can introduce this functionality.

The main problem at hand here is the fact that many breakdowns and metrics are different between report suites, such as classifications or custom events. It can very easily break if there aren't any flags in place to let the user know the metrics are completely separate.

Hello Gigazelle-

Gigazelle    We are also having same scenario, and I cannot see this functionality implemented.

I would really appreciate if you can provide with any other alternative approach to handle this kind of scenario. This is because selecting ~180 columns for different report suite can take lot of time of ours. Thank you, Gerg

Hi Gigazelle

I understand that not all report suites have the same config, but not having the feature for customers who have several RS with the same configuration is annoying.

What if you allow copying a report to another report suite but only identical dimensions/metrics get copied and we get a warning/list of what was not copied in the new report ?

I agree, thats the right way to go for it. I hope they have some other alternatives to tackle this scenario. lets wait for Gigazelle to respond.

Hi Gigazelle

Are there any updates on this and whether it is something that will be introduced by Adobe?

Thanks,
