The purpose of this thread is to continue the conversation from the Virtual User Group on the topic of Resource Management on May 18, 2021.

Many thanks to everyone who came to our virtual meetup! Special thanks to @Samantha Isin‚ from Melaleuca for sharing how they shined the light on resource management through custom reporting. A great reminder that visibility on the current state is the first step to real, actionable change.

Thanks also to @Aaron Behr‚ from VaynerMedia or sharing their journey to next level resource management. This journey didn’t happen overnight, it’s great to see how the team and processes have evolved.

You can see more in the attached slides, and you can watch the recording here.

Do you have any questions that weren’t answered in the meetup? Was there a tip that was especially helpful that you picked up in the session? Leave a comment below and we’ll keep the conversation going!

Thanks again. If you have any feedback (good or bad), please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can find the schedule for all upcoming User Groups on the Events page on Workfront One (one.workfront.com/events).

For those of you early on in your journey with resource management, you may want to check out this one-page overview of Resource Management tools in Workfront.

Every customer we heard from today had unique requirements so while there will never be one "right" way to do resource management, this matrix should give you and your organization a great reference for the options available for different use cases / desired outcomes. Hope it helps!

Hi @Kristin Farwell‚

Sorry missed this event, but it is surprised that I have not received any invitation link to join this event . Even after registering for this.

@Kundan Kumar‚ - Apologies for the poor experience with this session. You should have received a confirmation email after you registered, and I also send a reminder on the morning of the event. In the event this happens again, you can simply click the registration link at the start of the event and it should let you right in. Hope to see you in the future!
