Uploading Backlog items

Currently there is no feature to allow uploading a backlog, therefore all entries are typed 1 at a time. Whereas there is a utility to import a project from and XML rendering of a Microsoft Powerpoint Deck, there is no similar way to upload into the Agile tool(s). When will this needed and relevant feature be added to Workfront? Bob Gregg Forrest T. Jones & Company, Inc.

Well actually the Agile tool isn't separate. Stories (aka Tasks) get into the Agile view by assigning your Agile Team to the Task and looking at that Team Backlog. So if you upload a project from MS project into WF, you now have your Tasks (aka Stories) in Workfront. Tasks are the equivalent of an Agile Story in WF. Simply assign those Tasks to your Agile Team (you can do a bulk Edit for ease). And you should be good to go. You're magically Agile Let me know if I'm missing something or if that doesn't make sense. Vic, I had the same thought (well, close: Kickstarts and/or "http://store.atappstore.com/product/excel-updater/">Excel Updater ) when I took a first quick read through this post, but now that I'm catching up on my day, I'm now not quite clear if by "into the Agile tool(s)" Bob is referring pulling data into Workfront, or out of Workfront into some other Agile tool he might be using. Bob, would it be possible to clarify, and/or include an example or screenshot of the data you're looking to import or export? Regards, Doug Den Hoed - AtAppStore Got Skills? Thanks for your input. I honestly never thought anyone would respond so I didnt look until now. I just created a project set up in a Story / Task hierarchy and saved it as XML. I created a team in Workfront and assigned the team as a resource. It actually worked. What DIDNT work was my assignment of a resource of the exact same name as the agile team. But in fact it did work. I dont know if this is a new feature that i missed or if it was always that way but it did work. Thanks for you input Bob Gregg Forrest T. Jones & Company, Inc.
