The end of the "Black Hole" of feature requests - the Workfront Idea Exchange is coming soon!

Howdy! Do you feel like, "Hey - what is up with that feature request I sent in eons ago? Did it disappear into a black hole?" Well, fear no more, the Workfront Idea Exchange (WIE) is being released in March to allow YOU, our amazing customers, have a stronger voice in the Workfront products. "Sounds great! Please tell more!!!" you say. OK, here are more details: The Workfront Idea Exchange is a site that will be accessible from either the Workfront Community or Workfront Help where authorized support contacts can submit ideas, vote on ideas, and discuss ideas with other customers. Authorized support contacts can submit as many ideas as they want, and vote on as many ideas as they want, but you can vote only once UP or DOWN for each idea. So place your vote wisely! Once an idea has achieved a critical mass** of votes, the Idea will then receive a status of Under Product Management Consideration . This indicates that the Workfront Product Management team is actively assessing the suggested idea and will respond within 30 days with one of the following updates to the status: Planned (Feature has been added to the backlog and will be delivered and the release time horizon will be specified when the status is updated) Not planned (Product Management has determined it will not build that feature with a brief explanation as to the rationale behind the decision) Once a Planned feature has been developed and released, the status of that idea will be changed to Delivered. You might wonder what will happen to the requests that you have submitted previously. The Product Management team will be pre-populating the WIE with some of the ideas that have been suggested, but not all. We also want the person who created the suggestion to be able to respond to inquiries if other customers have questions. If you have a feature request that you were just about to send in, call support about or send to your CSM, please hang on to it for a few short weeks and be one of of the first to seed ideas into the WIE with your great idea. We are extremely excited to move forward with the WIE as it will make it a better experience for all of us to continue to improve the Workfront products.
**(Critical Mass info) After usage of the Workfront Idea Exchange becomes instituted widely across the customer base, the Workfront team will analyze the voting patterns and establish public-facing voting thresholds that ideas will need to exceed in order to gain consideration by the Workfront team. During the initial ramp-up it will be monitored to ensure appropriate responses are given.

Fantastic! Nate took this suggestion and ran with it. Great to hear that it is being delivered soon. A couple of questions: What sort of categorisation/search/reporting will this provide? If people submit duplicate feature requests, will Product Management be able to merge the requests together so that the votes are not split? Regards, David

Howdy! There is some strong categorization of the issues so you can really narrow down what you'd like to post on. Attached is the current layout that we are finalizing. Yes, we will do our best to help eliminate duplicates.
