Task Filter by "Due On" Day of Week

Has anyone had any experience building a task report that does some filtering based on the day of the week? I'm specifically looking for a way to filter by tasks that have a "Due On" date that falls on a Friday. The only documentation I can find that has anything to do with days of the week is related to lag types. Thanks all! Satchell Mische-Richter Quality Bicycle Products

Hi, Satchell. I've been hoping that someone would reply to your post with an inspiration, but I fear that this is currently beyond Workfront's capabilities. I'm looking for similar functionality--specifically, the ability to filter out results that occur on a weekend. You "should" be able to use either the "DAYOFWEEK" or the "WEEKDAYDIFF" calculated expression to get what we're looking for, but I haven't been able to make it work in a filter yet. Something as simple as "DAYOFWEEK($$TODAY)=6" SHOULD get you the result you need but isn't acceptable to the filtering syntax. ~Eric Eric Manning Language Line Translation Solutions

Hi Eric and Satchell, I had an inspiration for your filter by Weekday challenge, at least in a Task list. Regards, Doug Doug Den Hoed - AtAppStore Got Skills? Lend a hand! https://community.workfront.com/participate/unanswered-threads

Thanks Doug! That'll help! It would be really nice to be able to build a real filter. Good to hear, Satchell, On the OverKill side, you could also create a "https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/articles/217196767-Understanding-Calculated-Data-Expressions">calculated custom parameter called "Due Day Of Week" attached to a custom form on every task you care about that calculates the DAYOFWEEK(Planned Completion Date), then filter on Due Day Of Week (e.g. to pick off only "weekday" tasks).
