task assignments in project template

I am not able to assign a job role to the tasks in my project templates. The only things that come up are the teams and users. Our project owners need to be responsible for assigning specific users to task, but we need to provide them with the role so that we can plan for resources. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Make sure you’re using the Template Task -> Assignments field instead of the Assigned to -> Name field to make job role assignments.

Hi, What view are you using in your templates? As long as you have the column Template Task->Assignments in your view you should be able to assign to a job role. Cheers, Iain
