Reusable column rules

Does anyone know if there is a central place to establish and store column rules for a field that can then be reused across many reports and views? I know that we can copy and paste the text mode code from one place to another but was wondering if there is a native capability available. The use case would be if we wanted to change the column rules, we could make the update centrally and not have to locate all of the reports and views using that field. Thanks in advance!
