Question on Hand off Report & Duration Report

Hello, I am hoping someone can have input on a report I built to identify bottlenecks in our workflow. I call it a "hand off" report. Basically I am trying to show each project and what the next three open tasks are in said project. For instance if we are looking at it from a high level, I can say Project A is "at risk" and here are our next three tasks and due dates coming up (it won't show the completed tasks). My issue is: it is showing EVERY open task in the project. So if there are 100 tasks, and one is done, it is showing 99 of them. Is there a way where I can set logic so that it only shows a maximum of the next 3 open tasks? Here is a screenshot of what I have: Any input will be appreciated. Thank you! Hi Mike, Did anyone answer this one? I don't know of a way to display the next three, but you can display some sort of time component. For example, here are the tasks that are scheduled for this week, month, etc. You may get more than three, but at least you'll know what's on the immediate horizon. Hi Vic, No I have not heard back. I didn't think there was any logic that specific. But that may help. We have a production meeting every Monday morning and it might benefit showing just the tasks for the week. thank you, Mike Mike Marando Excelsior College

Hi Vic, Your suggestion on the hand off report was perfect! I set a prompt to force the user to choose a date in the beginning of the report. I chose "this week" and it showed just the tasks due for this week. The report went from 900+ tasks to a little over 100 :) This will work. Thanks Vic. Mike Mike Marando Excelsior College
