Proof Reviewer Communication

Hi When someone is a Reviewer on a Proof, and not a Reviewer/Approver how do they indicate that they have finished the review? We can't find any notification button for them to acknowledge that they are done. We had an example where a Reviewer went to lunch before finishing and when she came back, the Proof was locked because the owner was moving on to the next stage. Have I missed something? Thanks!! They do not have the ability to "approve". They can only make a comment. We use reviewer only when we need someone to have access to the proof and not be able to hold the timeline up. If they are reviewer and approver, then the proof will "wait" until they have "approved" (click the green button) and could hold up your time line. Most of our VIP's are on the reviewer only because they want to know what their team is doing but not be the bottle neck when getting to the printer or placed on line. Hope this helps. Thank you. I guess we have to expand our definition of "approver" ! Jill Ackerman

That would probably be ideal (to expand your definition of Approver) and it would also answer your question in your other thread "https://community.workfront.com/discussions/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=151&MessageKey=c51b577f-a698-4a6e-9dd5-04b9e06fcad4">https://community.workfront.com/discussions/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=151&Messa... about how your reviewers would know if they have anything to review. -skye

I agree with Samantha. If you need to know when they are finished and cannot move forward without their acknowledgement then they should be approvers of the proof. If they are truly reviewers only then the process should be able to move forward. Hope this helps. Shelly Long AVP Customer Experience Delivery
