Project/Milestone Report Help

Avatar

Level 1
Hi community, I'm new to custom reports and was hoping for some guidance from the collective expertise here. I'm trying to create a report that contains the following information Portfolio Name | Program Name | Project Name | Task Name | Task % Complete | Task Start On | Task Due On | Project Sponsor | Project Owner I'm having a hard time figuring out how to connect portfolio/program/project details to task details. Thanks! -Chris Chris Connors IGM Financial

Hi Chris, I'd suggest you use a calculated custom data parameter to pull the Portfolio and Program information of interest down to the Project level, as described in our "http://store.atappstore.com/hows-my-portfolio/">How's My Portfolio blog post. Hey @Chris Connors From a task report you should be able to pull in all the task/project information you require. Then use this text mode for the department name: displayname=Portfolio linkedname=project namekey=view.relatedcolumn namekeyargkey.0=project namekeyargkey.1=name querysort=project:program:portfolio:name textmode=true valuefield=project:program:portfolio:name valueformat=HTML And then another column for program: displayname=Program linkedname=project namekey=view.relatedcolumn namekeyargkey.0=project namekeyargkey.1=name querysort=project:program:name textmode=true valuefield=project:program:name valueformat=HTML Hope this helps!
