I liked reading the tip that "There is also one global notification surrounding Proof that you will want to consider, found via Setup > Email > Review and Approval." However, this does not work for our use case. Here it is: Most of our external agency users have a Review license, so cannot generate proofs. Our process is that they upload a document and notify the project owner that the document is ready to review. Then the project owner generates the proof and may add their internal stakeholders as reviewers & approvers. However, this now disassociates the external agency user (original document uploader) from the proof and they cannot receive proof activity including when comments are made on the proof. It would be fantastic to have 'inherited permissions' passed from the document to the proof. A workaround, of course, is for the project owner to ADD that original document uploader onto the proof and set email notifications on the proof for this person, but this is so incredibly clunky to "share back" the file. Anyone else face this challenge? We can't support all external agency users with Work licenses at this time to generate proofs. We also cannot set up proof automated workflows because we do not send content for review to the same groups of people regularly. Thanks for any tips!
